Personal Life[]

Morton was a huge fan of technical wrestling, made popular by the likes of the Hart family and British wrestling. He was honored enough to be able to train in the Hart family Dungeon for a spell when training to be a professional wrestler.

He has 2 older sisters and 2 older brothers, all of whom have a career in the wrestling business, from training to attire design.

Morton sustained a career-threatening back injury in mid 2009 which forced him out of wrestling for over a year. It was during this time Morton developed an unfortunate painkiller addiction. After finally recovering from his injury and completing EWE-sponsored rehabilitation, Morton finally returned to wrestling in early 2011.

Morton married his second wife Anna-Marie in 2005. They announced the birth of their first child on 9th July 2012, a son called Adam. He has a daughter called Lauren from his first marriage born 2nd March 2005

Real Life Inspiration[]

Bret Danielson's original concept was that of Hart Foundation-era Bret Hart; a tag team/submission specialist. However, over the course of time, he has inadvertently followed a much more similar path to Hart than first conceived, moving into a formidable Intercontinental Championship-level wrestler.

His attire is black elbow pads and white wrist tape on both arms, with usually black, white or red tights with deigns representing Canada, such as the flag.
