- 24th March: Global Championship Wrestling is founded.
- 30th March: Anarchy Championship Wrestling debuts in the e-fed world.
- 6th May: Atlantic Wrestling Club debuts with the "Zero To Hero" pay-per-view event.
- 18th May: SychoSide makes his first ever debut in Anarchy Championship Wrestling.
- Mr. C.C. debuts in RSC and wins the RSC World Heavyweight Championship and the RSC Undisputed Championship twice in the same year.
- 2nd June: Professional RPG Wrestling is founded
- OCW is founded.
- September: Total Wrestling Federation closes its doors.
- November: Universal Wrestling League is founded
- December: Universal Wrestling League holds it's first event
