Joseph Gravity (Born 16th September, 1990), better known under his primary moniker of Black Majik, is a British Pro Wrestler, and is the owner of Totally Awesome Wrestling Alliance, plus has worked for OWW Takedown in the past and currently for Xtreme Wrestling Alliance, Hardcore Wrestling Alliance and Hellbound Wrestling, among various appearances in other Indy Federations. He has also wrestled under the names Superstardy, Captain Joe Falcon and Retail Stardy in his short career thus far.

[edit] Birth / Getting into Wrestling
Joseph Daniel Gravity was the youngest of five children, the other children being William (Who is known as BRIX in XWA); Hailey; Jason and Nicola, and was born in Newcastle, England. At the age of sixteen however, he and his best friend Alex Daniels (Known as Battle Frogger to XWA fans) moved to Toronto, Canada, to start of a wrestling career. They debut for a promotion known as Underground Wrestling Alliance (A backyard promotion), and they started their careers as Super Stardy (Joseph) and Wonder Kid (Alex). They did main event some shows and put on good matches to get themselves noticed, however they didn't win any gold, as it wasn't long until Joseph was signed to OWW Takedown, and placed into their Dungeon Training School, to start official training (Before this, he was self trained).
[edit] OWW Takedown's Dungeon
Debut
After two months of training, the Dungeon's first graduates where Jarek Synkaid, "The Couger" Claire Ashton, Lucas McCoy and Joseph Gravity, and with it, a Dungeon show debut, featuring the future of wrestling (The four graduates) take on many of the Takedown stars for the first few shows, until the fact they couldn't work together finally broke them apart. Joseph had carried on his Super Stardy gimmick into the OWW-TD Dungeon, and started teaming up with McCoy as "The Superstars", and ended up feuding with two of the new batch of Dungeon Stars, The Game and Wolf, the Black and Blue Crew, two drunk brawlers. The feud started when Game put McCoy out of a Tournament in the first round, and Wolf eliminated Stardy in the second. This led to a tag match the next month, where the Black and Blue Crew once again prevailed over the two Superstars. And a third time to decide the first ever Tag Team Champions in a tournament semi final, however the Superstars screwed out B&B crew in the finals, by sending in their new bodyguard, Mr. Ryan Brix (No Relation to the current day XWA BRIX), to destroy them, leading to The French Mafia becoming the first ever tag team champions. A elimination tables tag match was booked for the next show to settle it once and for all, however McCoy was released before the match took place, and Stardy was on his own again...
Captain Joe Falcon
After disapearing from Dungeon Screens for a month, Superstardy returned in the special open invitational battle royal between Dungeon and Takedown, the winner getting a World Title Shot on their respective brands. The final two where two Dungeon Stars, Synkaid and Stardy, and the match ended when Stardy got caught up in the ropes, and Synkaid eliminated himself to eliminate Stardy with a clothesline over the top, leading to Stardy sustaining a bump on the head, thought to injure him at first, so Synkaid was given the title shot, however it turned out that it wasn't as serious as once thought, and a promo aired after Synkaid managed to win the Dungeon Belt... that Captain Joe Falcon would be coming for him. And sure enough, next show, Super Stardy returned, thinking he was Captain Falcon, complete with Falcon Punch and Kick. After a hellacious match, Joe Falcon was put away with a Tombstone Piledriver off the second rope. The next week, Joe Falcon wrestled his last match in OWW as in a "Winner Joins Takedown, Loser Gets Fired" match, he was pinned by Grim Ripper, and Stardy was released not long after. However, almost a week later, XWA signed him up onto a three year contract.
[edit] Xtreme Wrestling Alliance
Debut In XWA
Joseph debut as "Black Majik", the evil wizard a little while after signing into XWA in the infamous XWA Australia Tour which lead to Rick Awesome sustaining a serious neck injury, taking his place in some matches by jobbing to the favorite stars of the XWA roster, such as Slade Mortis, Sparx and Doug Pical. Majik debut on XWA screens at the start of November Two Thousand and Eight on the Collision Draft Episode, aged eighteen, becoming the youngest member of the XWA roster, in a tag match which his partner got pinned in against Arsene Lupin and Klutz, the match where Klutz turned heel and joined the COMBAT Roster. Majik ended up being drafted to Collision. He went on to pick up a number of losses, including a fatal four way against Lucas Lewis, Nick Cerebrum and Arsene Lupin in a match for a Cruiserweight Title Shot in the future against Chaos, then cruiserweight champion. Cerebrum won the match, but it was this match which lead to XWA Officials seeing the talent in Majik and the decision to push him. They also hooked him up with new signings, his brother William Gravity (BRIX) and best friend Alex Daniels (Battle Frogger) to form the 8-Bit World Domination Squad.
XWA Push / King of Kings
Black Majik's push officially started against Slade Mortis, where the two went to a draw, and the honors where split. He then went to a draw on the COMBAT/Collision Christmas Episode, but lost to his arch nemesis Lucas Lewis the next week. However, in the rematch Majik asked for online, he finally picked up his first victory in XWA and over Lewis, and in the King of Kings tournament no less, leading him to face the man monster Rick Magnum in the second round, which he managed to win and advance to the finals following a distraction from Sparx leading to Majik being able to roll up Rick for the win. Majik made his Pay Per View Debut against Shane McCool in the finals of King of Kings at the King of Kings Pay Per View, managing to shock McCool following a cheap shot from Frogger behind the Ref's back, and a Game Over to seal the deal, earning Majik a title shot against either the Collision World Champion (Jamie Starrsplash) or the COMBAT World Champion (Prince Nana). Majik chose to face Starrsplash, and the road to Gateway to Glory began...
The Road to the Gateway
Black Majik celebrated his king of kings victory with a Three on One Handicap Victory over Sparx, and another victory the next week against newcomer The Riddler. The following week, Lucas Lewis challanged Majik for one final match with Majik's title shot on the line. After a valiant showing from Lewis, Majik managed to put him away following him spitting some sort of mist in Lewis's eyes, leading to Lewis dropping down to the mat stunned. Majik later revealed that this was a brain washing potion, and Lewis was now his servant.
And now, Starrsplash and Majik started feuding officially, following a promo about how Majik had snapped appeared online, talking about how Dark Majik was now about to reveal himself... while he lost the match that week, Majik viciously attacked Starrsplash on the outside of the ring, hitting him with his new amazing finisher, the Go F*** Yourself, lifting Starrsplash onto his shoulders, and then bringing him back down for a piledriver, impaling Starrsplash, and almost breaking his neck in the process. While the next few weeks would lead to even more punishment much like the same, Majik couldn't pick up a victory, be it by he get stunned with a Starrshot or him get counted out...
At Gateway to Glory, Majik and Starrsplash fought in a MOTYC, by bringing out the best of eachother, outside the ring and inside. BRIX, Frogger and a Brain Washed Lewis ran out to help the evil wizard, however Starrsplash managed to put Majik away following a Starrshot from out of nowhere followed up with a Starrsplash, and Dark Majik was defeated. A promo appeared online later that day about how Majik was now in the Looney Bin to try and control his dark side... when he comes back, who knows what will happen?
King Of The Deathmatch / Xtreme Title Contender
So now Majik is back, and defeated the returning Alex Kyle in his return in the first round of King Of The Deathmatch. Lucas Lewis mysteriously got removed from the 8-Bit World Domination Squad during this time, leaving it just Majik, BRIX and Frogger. He also has a new finisher, the Data Corruption. Now its time for Round Two... which is now. He lost to Klutz after an epic Hell In A Cell Match, but now is being placed in the Razorwire Ladder Match for the vacant XWA Xtreme Title after the shock firing of champion The Ruiner led to the belt being vacated. Can Majik make up for his tournament defeat and win gold for the first time in his career?

Debut
Following the announcement that GWF would allow their talent to take Inderpendent Bookings, Black Majik was quickly made an active member of the HellBound Wrestling Roster, and vowed to become their world champion and take over the company to get him started on his schemes for World Domination. However, his first three matches where all losses and he looked to be going the same way as a number of others, however he didn't give up and finally managed to pick up his first HBW win against fellow XWA star Nick Fuse. Now that he has managed to get the hang of the company, what is going to happen in his future there?

Opening
Unknown to some people, Black Majik actually owns his own promotion, known as Totally Awesome Wrestling Alliance, also known as TAWA Pro. So far, it's only had one show, however it managed to get a good turn out and it's next four shows have already been planned.

Black Majik's debut in this promotion went differently to his other debuts, as he won the Nutjob Championship in his debut match! What else does this promotion have in store for the mage?
[edit] Outside of Wrestling
Joseph is in a small band known as Tea And Crumpets, a punk rock/hardcore band, which has released two EP's, "What A Let Down" and "Sirens", and are currently working on their debut album, called "Taking It All Back" with the brand new XWA Music Department, which is expected to be why he is taking time off. He is the vocalist in the group. He is also the Drummer in the heavy metal band "The Spiked Fists", and has released a number of albums with the group.
He also owns his own video game store (Currently being looked after by his sisters), located in Newcastle, called 1-Up Video Games.
