History
Edit
Cole Scorpio first debuted in the promotion known as HDW, immediately making a splash by demanding multiple title shots and at one point even pretending to hold a claim to the world title. This was swiftly reduced down to the women's championship by the owner of the company, which sadly folded before anything else could be done with the situation. He then debuted in the small promotion RCW which went through a change of ownership, and died for a number of weeks. Cole left the company soon after joining.
Cole bounced back shortly afterward, when the company was bought up by the former rival entity known as EWF to form the mega-company known as EHDW. There, he immediately began a feud with Michael Cole over the sullying of the name Cole that he had begun many months before Scorpio had joined the company. They battled several times in tag team matches, until the owner of the company Thor Jørgensen set up a hardcore match between the two to decide who would walk away from the new company's first PPV as the inaugural world champion. After a grueling battle and interference by Kevin Nash Cole Scorpio was able to walk away with his first world title.
Shortly after winning the title, Cole switched to a feud with Phillip Phillips, who he saw as a stooge to Thor Jørgensen. However, the feud would be cut short due to Cole taking a brief sabbatical from wrestling. He handed the world title to Randy Orton and just walked right over to the announce table. He would spend the next full month and a half on that desk. It was during this time that Cole first started hanging out with his future tag-team partner, Dark Angel.
During the official draft that would decide which wrestlers went to which brands between Demolition and the newly created EWF, Cole Scorpio made a surprise return. He was drafted back to EWF, where he immediately began a program attempting to win the EWF title from the man he thought undeserving of it, Sean Masters. During this time, he also helped to steal back the Intercontinental title for his friend Daniel Bryan from Cody Rhodes. Before the PPV, Sean Masters was injured and replaced by Cody Rhodes. At this time, Cole double-signed to AWO. Cole won that night, in the final EHDW match. The company closed down immediately afterward.
On the night of his AWO debut, Cole Scorpio was attacked by the former EWF and EHDW alumni Austin Cross. However, Cole Scorpio ended up being the "bad guy" in this situation, recruiting first a bodyguard in Ultra Destroyer then a tag team partner in The Lockdown. Together, they formed the rudimentary framework of the tag team known as H.E.E.L. Soon after, Cole Scorpio challenged Austin to find a tag team partner in order to hold the first ever tag team championship match in AWO. However, right before the PPV, Cole recruited Dark Angel and his valet Lust and kicked The Lockdown out of the group violently. This caught Austin and his mystery partner Randy Reamueau by surprise, and allowed Cole and Dark Angel to pick up the win and the titles. Immediately following the victory, all members of H.E.E.L. along with Austin and Randy were attacked by mystery men.
Soon after the attack, Cole and Dark Angel were put into a match with the world champion Aidan Raider and Phillip Phillips. They were able to pull of the victory, but it was revealed that the mystery men were Tony X and Kris Storm of The Foundation led by Xavier Serikaz. H.E.E.L. made the decision to add a new member to their group, to be revealed the week after. During that episode of Fusion, Mike Cole defeated Joey Simone. H.E.E.L. came out and introduced Joey Simone as the newest member of H.E.E.L. before immediately exiling him from the group and hiring Mike Cole.
During this time, Cole also redebuted for the promotion RCW, which had been restored to full strength under the new owner. He entered the tag team division, where he was randomly paired with Jason Arona. They joined the tag team championship tournament, and won their first round match. Cole's time in this fed was short-lived, as once again the booker disappeared.
While this was happening, Ultra Destroyer was making his return to AWO. In a surprise turn of events however, he betrayed H.E.E.L. and attacked Cole Scorpio with the help of Alex Kross. After multiple package piledrivers, Cole was returned to his former babyface persona. He abandoned his tag team championship, and entered into a campaign known as "RedemptionTour2012" on twitter and in the ring. He has since promised to go after a title.
Unfortunately, the actions of Spitta Andretti led to the mass exodus of wrestlers from AWO. Alex Kross, Dark Angel, Xenon Byers, Terry Kowalski (Ultra Destroyer renamed), Joey Simone, Tan-Toa, and multiple other users made their way to the retiring Alex Kross's new promotion PWE. The owner of AWO apparently died, but his body was never found. Cole also found himself in Phillip Phillip's new promotion UWE, hoping to finally get the match he had been going after for a very long time now.
Once AWO received new owners, Cole Scorpio rejoined the fed and was immediately inserted into a world heavyweight title tournament. As it turns out the fed was renamed to WEW, Warfare Entertainment Wrestling. Cole defeated Matt Knoxville in the first round of the tournament, before entering a single-elimination triple threat match to determine the final two competitors. He faced Dark Angel and Axle Valentino, who was eliminated by count-out. Cole would be heavily injured during the match however, and his title match would be in doubt.
Most recently, Cole has revealed that he is a quick healer and that his leg is completely healed for the upcoming title match.
