Critical Acclaim is an American hard rock/heavy metal band endorsed by Global Extreme Wrestling. The band is fronted by wrestler Mark Chapman and fellow GEW Superstar Damien Synn plays lead guitar. They are managed by Maria Giordano and have performed live on GEW PPV twice.

The band first appeared at the Boiling Point 2008 pay-per-view, performing the official theme song "Afterlife" and more recently at Carpe Diem, where they played the appropriately named song, "Seize the Day"

Critical Acclaim's debut album - "A Little Piece of Heaven" was released on March 30th 2009 in the United States and online, July 20th in the United Kingdom and July 29th in the rest of Europe and Australia.

The band is currently on a hiatus from live performances as they work on writing their second album around Chapman and Synn's wrestling careers.
