Ed Donaldson (born Edwin Chantuse Donaldson on April 5, 1948), is an African American professional wrestling announcer currently working for the WNWA.


Donaldson was born in Mocksville, NC. His father was an undertaker and his mother a school teacher. Donaldson attended Winston-Salem State University. He received his masters degree from Shaw University and is an ordained minister. Donaldson spent many years working for local AM radio stations. In 2006 he was hired by the WNWA as a backstage reporter, becoming the first African American non-wrestling employee in the company's history.

  • Donaldson is married but has no children.
  • Donaldson is a former Black Muslim and took part in the Million Man March. He is also a contributor to the Louis Farrakhan Prostate Cancer Foundation. Donaldson is now a deacon in the First Holy Roller Pentecostal Church of Braddock, TX.
