Katsuro was born in Tokyo, Japan at an unknown date. Espio moved to the US after A local japan wrestling promotion gave his last known information to the Yakuza. While in the US Espio moved to Virginia where he opened his own wrestling promotion called Championship Xtreme Wrestling(CXW) that is still running today. He currently wrestles for Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment.

While living in Japan, Espio worked for the Yakuza or Japanese mafia as a hired assassin(hence the nickname "Flying Assassin"). The Yakuza credited him for scaring of FMW owner, Shoichi Arai, into hanging himself to collect insurance money that he owed the Yakuza. After killing a high ranking member of the Yakuza during a disagreement over payment, Espio disappeared. The Yakuza soon warned every member that if they knew Espio's whereabouts and didn't inform someone immediately, they would be executed. Three members were executed that following week. The Yakuza also put a bounty out on Espio's head. Every Yakuza member was out to kill Espio. So Espio moved to the US under the name "Espio" to avoid the Yakuza. The Yakuza soon found out that his last known whereabouts were in a local wrestling company as a jobber. Then they found out that he moved to the US under an assumed name. Espio soon found this out and moved from the state that he was in to Richmond, VA. He soon created a wrestling promotion of his own. After that venture, Espio Tried out for UWE. With the Yakuza still looking to kill him and finding out that UWE would be broadcast on tv around the world, he had to hide some how, but he didn't want to stop wrestling, so he decided to hide his face instead Dawning a mask and face paint, Ki-Su became ESPIO.

During his full time career in CXW, Espio's promotion featured the likes of (then local talent)Mickie James, Brian Kendrick, and others. Espio has better experience in specialty matches such as (CXW original match)Basement Deathmatch, Barbedwire rope matches etc.

Espio's talent were recognized when he got signed to The UWE roster. Unfortunately he is a jobber, but he knows that and many people have acknowledged that and probably respect him for that. Espio retired in December. Only to return two months later at the March 3rd edition of "Monday Night ShowDown!". Espio went on to face off against Wynne Man at "UWE Judgment Day". Currently Espio is the number one contender for the UWE Cruiserweight Championship and was supposed to face the champion, Bryan Blaze, at "UWE Souled Out 2008", but the match was moved to the 100th anniversary edition of "Monday Night ShowDown!".

Shortly after UWE's Royal Rumble 2008, Espio was forcibly removed from the arena in a straight jacket. It was later released that Espio had attacked a reporter with barbedwire.

In his first match, Espio defeated Liam Friseal and Dark Lotus to win his first [notified] Championship since he stopped wrestling in Championship eXteme Wrestling (CXW). At WrestleBrawl II, Espio fought Dark Lotus in a Octagon Time Bomb Explosion Deathmatch. Sadly Espio lot his Annihilation Championship. Espio also suffered first degree burns from the cage.

Espio met Tila Tequila At a myspace party and they clicked but not for long. Tila revealed that she was bi-sexual, so Espio and Tila went their separate ways. Espio then met Alysha at a autograph signing after a CXW show, they clicked immediately, they had most of the same interests like wrestling (unlike Tila) they planned to get married in early or mid-2008.
