Joey Leone was born on February 23rd in Baltimore, MD. He began wrestling in 2006, competing in old gymnasiums and armories until he was signed by Saturday Night's Main Event, his first major promotion in November of 2007. Leone began his career under the wing of Straight Edge Elitist CM Punk; World Champion at the time. CM Punk recruited Joey Leone and fellow new comer Tyler Black into his New Age army, Generation Next, and it was here that his career jump started, molding him into what he has become today.
