The National Championship Wrestling (NCW) Championship is a World Heavyweight Championship in National Championship Wrestling (NCW). It is the main and only active World Championship of the company.It was established under NCW in 2006.

Origin[]

The NCW Championship was the very 1st championship introduced to NCW since its 2006 inception.Named the NCW World Heavyweight Championship, It was contested in a Barbed Wire Hell in a Cell match at the Very 1st Pandemonium event. The participants in the match, and contenders, were Jack, Death, and Hunter. Hunter won the championship and became its first champion after pinning Jack for the win.


Reigns[]

The NCW Championship was the first World Championship introduced into NCW in 2006. The inaugural champion was Hunter. There have been 9 different champions, with Death having the most reigns at 3.The longest reigning champion was Death who held the title from December 2006 to July 2007 when NCW folded that year.The current champion is "The Hardcore King" Wild, who is in his first reign after defeating Devon "DG" Poole at Monday Night Vengeance on October 4, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is Wild's 1st World Championship overall.
