The New ERA Television Championship was the second-tier championship in New ERA of Wrestling. The championship was decided in a Television Championship Tournament where the entrants mostly came from the New ERA World Heavyweight Championship Battle Bowl Mania tournament. The Television Championship Tournament Finals were held on the 04.05.04 edition of New ERA RAUCOUS from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Surprisingly, both men in the finals were replacements for original entrants in the tournament as neither man was a member of New ERA at the beginning of the Television Championship tournament. After the merging of New ERA and WFW to form WFW:NE on June 1, 2009, the Television championship became the WFW:NE Television championship. The championship was reverted to the New ERA Television championship after the WFW:NE closed when WFW pulled out.

Final Champion

Erik Black was the last New ERA Television champion after defeating Cameron Cruise at New ERA Destrucity II from Las Vegas, Nevada. The belt was retired after New ERA was forced to close down on September 25, 2010.

WHADAHTT Championship

After defeating World Heavyweight champion Jonathan Marx in a match where only the Television Championship was on the line, then Television champion Mr. Entertainment debuted a hybrid of the Television and World Heavyweight Championships on the 05.04.07 edition of RAUCOUS from Trelawny, Jamaica. He called the title the WHADAHTT belt; the World Heavyweight Actually Defended, Actually Held TV Title. Entertainment stipulated that the only way to win the WHADAHTT Championship would be to pin him, and the current World Heavyweight champion, at the same time, amongst other unfulfillable qualifications. Then New ERA President Marcus LaRoque never commented on the stipulations placed on winning the championship, or on the actual belt Mr. Entertainment carried around. When the organization resumed operations post-ban and post-merger to become the WFW:NE, the WHADAHTT Championship was not mentioned, and now is considered moot as Mr. Entertainment is no longer the WFW:NE Television champion.
