The PWW Women's Television Championship is a professional wrestling championship in Premium Women's Wrestling (PWW). It is a secondary championship in the company. The current champion is Athena "The Goddess", who is in her first reign as the champion. The first champion is Momo Uzuki who won the title in a four way ladder match at PWW: Here to Stay (2011). The championship is the only PWW sanctioned championship to be defended every two weeks on PWW programming (including pay-per-views).
History[]
With PWW growing in roster members, the decision to add another championship was a no-brainer for both Terrell Ryder and Jane Isis. On the second episode of Sunday Night Knockout, which aired on July 17th, 2011. Terrell and Jane introduced the title to the world and announced a four way match to determine the first ever champion. Momo Uzuki was named one of the four contestants after her recent run of impressiveness, that also included a victory earlier on in the night over Alice Humes. The other three competitors will be determined in matches. Two of them being named if they win a tag team match and another with the winner of a singles match between Laurie Young and Danica Savage. Momo Uzuki became the first champion at Here to Stay by defeating Sara Paisley, Ashlen and Danica Savage in a four way ladder match.
