Career

After nearly a decade of standing in the shadows of other LWF greats such as Arelas, CoolJ, Phoenix, and Metalhead Matt Marauder; Psiko has stepped into his own and taken the LWF by storm in 2009. Preaching that the future of the LWF is within the young new superstars such as Medos and Derick Felix, he still clings to his title and his past glory in an attempt to carry the torch a little longer. Forming one half of the remaining Lunatic Fringe with his girlfriend, Firestar, he is holding on to the fun times and moderate success the faction had before his stable mates defected in early 2009. Deep down he expects there to come a time when Fear and Alan come back and then the Lunatic Fringe will be reunited, although Firestar is vocal about her distrust in Fear.

Cemented in LWF history as a legend, first through his dominance of the Havok division although more recently because of his overall accomplishments, Psiko has climbed to heights never before imagined by anyone, much less himself. He is the small man in almost any fight, although he offsets his size with his in-ring presence and a fiery passion for success. Having waged numerous wars on the behalf of the fans against corrupt factions like The Regime, he holds the adoration and support of most of the fans who have since forgiven his personal corruption in 2004. He has taken part in countless gimmicks, some which have come from his own personal depths of the imagination such as the legendary Colliseum Match and the Triple Table Turmoil match.

2009 has brought about the emergence of a new side of Psiko: temporary Commissioner. This was first sparked by a power play when Psiko and Firestar gained a signed contract through Lock's Mom granting the Lunatic Fringe full power on the show. They took it a step further that night by placing Lock into a match of his own against Nomad in thedebut of the fan-adored Guitar God Endurance Match. The real quest for power came about as a result of Lock's own actions when he placed the Lunatic Fringe in charge of their second show a month later. Since that day Psiko has yearned to capture the vacant position of LWF Commissionership, although Lock has ignored every request, even going so far as to reverse Psiko's decision to turn his tag match into a Triple Table Turmoil, thus bestowing a loss upon Psiko and Fear.

The Early Months - 8/9/01 through 12/16/01

Psiko quickly moved up through the ranks of the federation, winning the Havok Title twice within his first six weeks in the Federation. Coming off his second straight Pay Per View victory at Vengeance, Psiko turned his back on the fans and teamed with newcomer Mr. Jim. They went on to lose their first two tag matches, which caused Mr. Jim to snap on Psiko after the match. The People's Alliance, consisting of Evildeathro and Monoxide, came to Psiko's aid and after that point the old fan favorite Psiko was back. He went on to defend his Havok Title at Day of Reckoning against his old partner, and walked away with another victory to his name.

Later that week Psiko made a bold challenge, requesting a match with the Federation Champion: Phoenix, in an attempt to make a name for himself. Several competitors, such as the Toughest Man Alive, vocally scoffed at this idea and tried to brush this challenge aside, but Phoenix honorably accepted the newcomer's request, even going as far as to put his own title on the line. In the first true defining point in Psiko's career, he stood toe to toe with the champion and, though he walked away with a loss, the next few months would sweep him into a well-known competitor.

After one more failed title shot during a triple threat match with TMA and Phoenix, Psiko managed to survive to the final round of the first ever Outlast tournament. In his first ever main event at a Pay Per View, he squared off with the champion Phoenix, the hot competitor Coolj, and relative newcomer Arelas. Although Phoenix would walk away with his title once more, Psiko was able to remain in competition for the #1 Contender title on two occasions soon thereafter, but falling short each time.

The next month was spent locked in a mind game with commissioner Robert Ooley, playing tag with a helmet. After costing each other several matches, the two men would meet at Betrayal in the first ever Louisville Helmet Match where Psiko, with a little help from Alan Fernandez, would come out victorious in his first heated feud.

Fighting for the People - 12/17/01 through 3/17/02

Coming off one of his most impressive matches, Psiko once again aims for the Federation Title, this time held by Coolj. Coolj claims Psiko needs to prove himself worthy of the opportunity, and has him undergo a series of challenges over the next month on the road to Massive Melee. He defeats Big Dick Togo in a lumberjack match, and scores wins over Flame Demon and Ruff Rabbi while managing to cost Coolj and the Regime several tag matches along the way. Coolj finally plays his final card and pits Psiko against Phoenix in the match to determine if Psiko will face Coolj at Massive Melee. After a close match, Xecutioner interferes and takes both men out and the referee awards the DQ victory to Psiko, allowing him to advance to Massive Melee to take on Coolj. For the fourth time in his career Psiko faces the Federation Champion and, once again, leaves empty handed.

Later that week Psiko and Phoenix square off once again, with the condition that if Psiko wins then the Lockmania main event will become a Triple Threat match with Psiko as a participant. Phoenix leaves with an impressive victory, but the two competitors would spend the next month locked in a heated feud with the Demonic Phenomenon, Xecutioner and Flame Demon. They meet at Maximum Carnage in a Tag Team Earthquake Match for the tag titles, which ends with the Demonic Phenomenon hitting a double chokeslam through a table atop two ladders, sending Psiko crashing through the ring below.

In the week following Maximum Carnage Psiko comes to the aid of Black Rose when the Emperor locks her in the Hell's Grasp following a match. This is the spark that begins a feud between the noble Psiko and the greedy People's Champion. After teaming with Black Rose and saving her a few more times from Emperor, she turns on Psiko and reveals that it was all a set-up from the beginning. This makes Psiko more determined to remove the People's Title from Emperor and win at Lockmania in a match he dedicates to the People. Despite repeated interference from Black Rose, Psiko hits the Psikotik on the Emperor to score the win and become the new People's Champion!

The Rise into Contention - 3/18/02 through 6/23/02

Coming off an impressive victory at Lockmania, it would only be a matter of time before Psiko would be able to sky rocket his career into the top ranks of the LWF. Following two successful defenses of his new title, Psiko was attacked brutally in the back by an unknown assailant, placing him out of action for several shows. During that time Psiko and Phoenix vowed to find out who was behind the attack and make them pay. After a false tip-off, Psiko and Phoenix confronted Arelas, but would soon learn that it was actually Crow, Arelas' current partner, who was behind the brutality. Wanting a shot at revenge on Crow, Psiko would later forfeit the People's Title in order to place himself in the Six Pack Challenge to take place at Maul for the Federation Title.

Maul brought about a brutal match where Psiko would face off against Crow, CoolJ, Xecutioner, Phoenix, and Arelas under no disqualification rules with Lock as the referee. At one point in time Psiko had Crow down following a Psikotik and went for the pin, but Lock was knocked out and unable to count the pinfall. The match would end later when Xecutioner and Crow double teamed Phoenix and Crow covered and received a fast count from Lock to walk away as the champion.

Shortly after Maul, Psiko and Crow would face off in a non-title match where Psiko cleanly pinned Crow. The next week Crow would interfere as Psiko and Phoenix faced off against Robert Ooley and Arelas for the Tag Titles, costing them the match. The next show Psiko would get a shot at Crow's title, but Crow brought the match to an end by bashing Psiko with the Title Belt to get the DQ. At Resurrection, Psiko and Crow would face off for the final time in their feud, settling things in a Hell in a Cell match. After a long and brutal match, Crow scored the pinfall after Psiko dropped Crow through the top of the cage with a Touch of Insanity, rendering both men motionless.

The next week Psiko would face Emperor and Evildeathro for the People's Title. Emperor would win the match after laying both men out with his scepter, prompting Evildeathro to hit an Evil DDT on Emperor after the match and reunite with Psiko as the People's Alliance. Over the next few weeks the People's Alliance would cross paths with Lock and Ooley, getting into a heated feud with the Regime. A few weeks later Lock would even help Psiko defeat Emperor to become the People's Champion once again, only to reveal that at Lord of the Ring Psiko's title would be on the line when the People's Alliance challenge the Puppet Masters for the Tag Title. At Lord of the Ring Psiko would score the pinfall over Lock to win the Tag Team Titles for the first time in his career!
