[edit] Early Life

Very little is know about Banks' early life, other than the fact that he was born in London, and moved to the US at the age of 22. Banks has stated that he first got into wrestling with the intent of being a wrestler, but was never athletically gifted enough to handle the responsibilities. After a few failed career attempts, Robert Banks retired, and sought a career in politics. The attempt was met only slight success, but eventually, Banks retired from politics as well, for unknown reasons.

During the summer of 2007, Robert Banks set out to run his very own wrestling promotion. During this time, Banks was first introduced to his future client, Kurt Noble. The two met, and doscussed running a wrestling promotion together, with Noble doing more behind the scenes work. The two eventually solidified negotiations as sponsors began to line up. June 9th, 2008, The Quixotic Wrestling League was opened for business.

[edit] Running the Quixotic Wrestling League

June 9th marked the first ever edition of Pride, the weekly QWL show. Banks was quickly established as the General Manager of the Pride. Each week, prior to the actual show, Banks would announce the card for the show. Originally, Banks thought his on-screen character was boring and uninvolved, but that wuickly changed when the character was given a heel turn. Banks would often make decisions against the wrestlers he disliked, mainly Tim Harrison and The Phenomenal Blu. Eventually, Banks enlisted the help of bodyguard "Max Payne." The on-screen character would be very short lived, being canned after two shows.

After the first ever PPV, Independence From Imagination, Kurt Noble's ons-creen character was introduced, with the intention of having an on-screen rivalry. On the first edition of Pride after the PPV, Noble came out, and erased the card Banks had previously set up. Banks was set to be involved in a Kurt Noble/Phenomenal Blu feud, but that would not be the case.

Prior to the PPV,due to economic hardships, several big name spondors stopped their funding for the QWL. Without any money backing the, the QWL faded away two weeks before its second PPV, Conflagrations of the Ring. Banks has gone on to say that he had no regrets with the company. Banks was set to be involved in The Phenomenal Blu's Phenomenal Wrestling Organization, but the promotion was scrapped before it even began. One week after the closing, Banks was contacted by Noble, with the intent of Banks being an on-screen manager with Noble, replacing Amy as Noble's longtime manager. Banks agreed, and the two signed a contract with Gate City Wrestling.

[edit] Managing The Noble One

[edit] Gate City Wrestling

In August of 2008, Noble and Banks signed a short term contract with GCW. The contract would prove its short-life wtith the the two only being involved in two shows. Banks character was only seen on-screen once.

[edit] Universal Wrestling League

Shortly before his GCW contract was terminated, Banks, alongside Noble, signed a long term contract with the Universal Wrestling League. While in UWL, Banks on-screen character was shown as the antithesis of Noble,, often disagreeing with his rebellious client, while still managing him on a regular basis. However, Banks character was stated as being one of the main reasons Noble was able to stay focused and win a large portion of his matches.

Banks character was also seen clashing with the in-screen character of Peter Obermyer, a former sales clerk befriended by Kurt Noble. The trifecta of sorts eventually ended when the UWL closed down late January. However, alongside Noble, Banks was offered a contract by Pro Wrestling FIRE.

[edit] Pro Wrestling FIRE

A few days after the close of the UWL, Noble and Banks signed onto the PWF. Taking some elements of his UWL character, Banks character still attempted to control his client with little success, but it was agreed backstage that the angle would be a major one.

The two main angles that brought Banks charatcer major praise were those of Noble's painkillers, and the rivalry with The Collective. Noble's painkillers originally brought concern to Banks, and had major on-screen arguments with Noble about the use of them.

The other on-screen angle Banks is know for is his rivalry with The Collective, most notablly with Russell White, manager of Jack Benevolence. The two could frequently be seen as opposites of one another, with Banks being a more hotheaded face manager, and White being a calm heel manager. After receiving a beatdown curteous of the The Collective, Banks had his first match in two years, teaming with Noble to defeat White and Dustin Douglas. After Noble won his PWF Title shot, Banks charatcer began embracing Noble's success.

Currently, Banks is attempting to balance dealing with Amy Register, and keeping Noble focused for his title match against Reck Maverick.
