Robert Gilmour is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for a long tenure in the Pacific Wrestling Union, though he has previously appeared in Nuclear Wrestling.

Early Life[]

Robert was born in Alaska. His father is a semi-retired professional chef, and his mother is a nurse. From an early age, Robert showed a love for both culinary arts and athletics. At an early age, Robert began to train as a freestyle wrestler and practiced yoga. He wrestled in high school and played ice hockey whenever possible.

Training[]

After graduating from high school, Robert moved to Las Vegas to attend culinary school and work at his grandfather's restaurant. One night, Robert attended a show produced by Nuclear Wrestling, an independent promotion that was popular in New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. After the show, he was approached by Hideo Morioko, Hector Ruiz, Tom Kozak, and Colette Rougeau, a quartet of trainers who had contacts with the owners of the promotion. They had seen the athletic young man sitting in the crowd and offered to train him. Robert accepted and juggled college, work, and training.

Nuclear Wrestling[]

After his trainers declared him ready, Robert was signed by Nuclear Wrestling. He initially teamed with a young wrestler named Scorpion, though the tag team broke up due to conflicting personalities. Robert would go on to win the promotion's top tier title, the NW Atomic Championship. In a vicious, bloody match, Robert lost the title to Scorpion two months later. The pair would meet once more, but Robert was defeated. Robert eventually gained the Atomic Championship again, defeating Van Damage in a triple threat match. Robert defended the title for five months but eventually lost the title to Max Power. Gilmour stayed active on the NW roster until the promotion was absorbed into the Living Legends of Wrestling promotion. Instead of renegotiating his contract, Robert accepted a lucrative buyout and became a free agent.

Pacific Wrestling Union[]

After Nuclear Wrestling closed, Robert and a man he trained with, Akira Kazeyama, signed with the Pacific Wrestling Union. They formed a tag team called 21st Century Killing Machine. Called 21KM for short, the pair were managed by a woman they had trained with, Polaris.

21KM quickly became a force in the tag team scene. They began to feud with the promotion's tag team champions, Black Magic. After a violent, controversial series of matches and incidents, 21KM won the tag team title.

In addition to defending the tag title, Robert wrestled in several matches. He had a brief feud with King, the PWU Franchise Champion. The two wrestled a Pay Per View main event in Honolulu, Hawaii, in a match that saw Robert win by disqualification. Later, Robert was defeated by Mr. Showtime in a match to determine who would be King's next opponent.

Eventually, Intimidation and Survivor defeated 21KM and Black Magic in a triple threat match for the PWU Tag Team Championship. Robert and Akira regained the belts by defeating the champions in Singapore. 21KM held the tag team belts for the remainder of the time the PWU was active.

Robert's career as a singles wrestler was an undisputed success. He defeated Jeff Hemp for the Violence Championship, though he eventually lost the title to Apocalypse. Later, Robert defeated Mr. Showtime, James Hughes, and Keiran Abdullah in a Four Corners Ladder Match to win the PWU's most coveted title, the Franchise Championship.

Robert's reign as Franchise Champion was a brief one. At the next Pay Per View, Sugar Plum Fairy, or SPF, defeated Robert to win the title. Robert entered an eight man tournament for a shot at the new champion, but he was defeated by Virus in the second round.

After losing in the tournament, Robert mainly wrestled tag team matches for the rest of his time with the PWU. When the federation closed, Robert and Akira won the Greatest Tag Team award. Robert was nominated as the Most Extreme Wrestler, though that award was won by Apocalypse.

PWU Reunion[]

The PWU eventually held a one time event in Vancouver. In the main event, 21st Century Killing Machine and Polaris reunited and defeated Sugar Plum Fairy, Virus, and Fawn.

Personal Life[]

After PWU folded, Robert married his girlfriend of three years, Carrie Haven. The couple moved to Juneau, Alaska, and opened an upscale diner featuring an eclectic and innovative selection of food. Carrie managed the restaurant's business side while Robert designed the menu, hired the kitchen staff, and assumed the role of sous chef. Whenever he is away from Juneau, Robert is replaced in the kitchen by his father.

Robert is a part-time trainer at the School of Excellence in Wrestling, a professional wrestling school established by the men and women he trained with. The school is located in Santa Fe, Mew Mexico, where his four trainers relocated to.

A political conservative, Robert has been quoted as being critical of both the Republican and Democrat parties.
