Personal Info

Before Wrestling

Robert (aka Bobby or Bobbo in the ring) grew up in Reno, NV. He was the first born of two children. He has a younger sister named Lydia. His father died when he was 11, which is a major reason why he stepped into the ring. His father was the one who showed him pro wrestling at a very young age. After he graduated from high school, he entered into training at Nic Brantner's Crash and Burn Wrestling Crash Course. After proving himself in one of the faster-paced learning programs in the business, Bobby was ready to make his debut.

Outside of the Ring

Robert is a noted executive. He runs his company "Davis Enterprises" which is one of the biggest corporations in the world, represented in almost every known industry. As a result of this important role, Robert is pressed for time, and as such frequently cuts promos and vignettes inside of his various surroundings at the Davis Enterprises offices. However in January 2007, he sold his interest in the company to a third party, relinquishing control and ownership in exchange for a large (and undisclosed) sum of money. Since this time, Robert has focused solely on his wrestling career.

OUW

2005

Bobby assumed his childhood nickname of Bobbo and signed a deal with One Up Wrestling. Bobbo was one of the stars that helped launch the program, premiering alongside other greats like, Micheal "BDS" Sweet, Michael "Plat" King, and Dylan "Gamr" Scott. His first televised match was at OUW Paramount on April 3rd 2005, where he lost to G-Prime. Afterwards, he went on to feud with Revolution, and then took on Plat and BDS in a tag team championship match alongside Sonic, which the new team lost. He decided to target only one member of Revolution, which was BDS. The two went on to a match at OUW Massacre, where Bobbo won and became the first ever OUW FTR Champion. Bobbo defended the title successfully for over a month before losing to Wolf. Bobbo went on to participate in OUW's first ever Elimination Chamber match, where he was eliminated third by Wolf. After this match, Bobbo went on a year-long hiatus.

2006

He returned at OUW Finale to wish the departing superstars well before disappearing again for a short time. Finally, Bobbo was ready to reappear, and did so with the reformation of the OUW. Bobbo went in and immediately called out his old tag partner Terry "Sonic" Pierce for a match. Gamr made the match for OUW Midnight Melee, and it was there that Bobbo won, advancing in the OUW Championship tournament. His next match was against Jasper "Dark" Griffin, a match he lost. He then went on to fight in a three-way match at Culmination against Coz and Jace Kage for the number-one contendership to the US Championship. He was pinned by Jace. He then challenged John "Pheonix" Hessingstock to a match, attempting to get Pheonix to give up a shot at the OUW Intercontinental Title. He won that match by disqualification, and Gamr awarded him a shot at the IC title at next week's Sunday Night Storm. Bobbo then appeared in a series of vignettes showing him on vacation before the match, making witty remarks in an attempt to infuriate Pheonix, an idea that succeeded. However, at Storm Bobbo lost his match despite having delivered his finisher, the "Bobbo Bomb." Recently, he posed a challenge for OUW's Genesis pay-per-view, offering for anyone from any wrestling organization to come to the OUW's event and be in a match with him. None stepped up to answer the challenge. After this, Bobbo came back showing his real life persona rather than a canned in ring character, and revealed himself to the world by his real, full name - Robert L. Davis, a notable executive and corporate cutthroat. He has seen slightly more success since redebuting - most notably in a match against Stephen Steele, the OUW champion. Since that victory Robert has been awarded a title shot at Steele at OUW Conversion on November 5th. On the season premiere of Monday Night Storm on 10/23, RLD interfered in a title match between Steele and Sonic, costing Sonic the match. As a result of these actions, Steele was stripped of the OUW Title, and the main event at Conversion was changed, to be a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match between Sonic, Steele, and RLD. In that matchup, Robert was not victorious. He then went on to have a match with Scorpion, which, little to his knowledge, put into effect a chain of events culminating at Retribution, where Robert captured his second title, winning the OUW United States Championship from Scorpion in a Hardcore Submission match. He won by placing Scorpion in a modified sharpshooter while his leg was wrapped in a steel chair.

2007

After the events of Retribution, he then went on to face Stephen Steele and Scorpion in a handicap match. Despite his best efforts, he lost. In that performance his effort was admirable, earning him the praise of the OUW roster. He faced Scorpion again in preparation for his match with Steele at Ascension. RLD lost the match and the US Championship. A rematch was then made between the two men for the biggest event in OUW history, the Paramount III. Since that time, RLD has faced several opponents, losing to Ben Stevens at Eleventh Hour in Tokyo Japan. He then cost Steele his shot at the OUW Championship that same night by hitting Steele in the head with the belt. The two men faced off in a match, with the loser forfeiting their match at Paramount and the winner being declared the US Champion. RLD passed out in a Steele Trap on the announce table. Due to this, Rachel Watts kept the rematch at Paramount III on the card. Due to Johnathan Pane's interference in that match, he too was added to the match, making it a triple threat. On the Monday Night Storm prior to Paramount III, RLD won a huge 6-Man Mayhem match, securing the right to name the stipulation for his Paramount matchup. He then named the Stock Market Crash Match as his choice. At Paramount III, Robert shocked the wrestling world, first by teaming with Jonathan Pane to take out Dylan "Gamr" Scott and Michael "Plat" King in their match at Paramount, and then later that same night by teaming again with Jonathan Pane in the Stock Market Crash Match, beating and bloodying Stephen Steele and walking out the new OUW US Champion for his second title reign. Afterwards, Robert revealed he would be in a team with Jonathan Pane. As the US Champion, Robert lost in a match to Ben Stevens at Regression, thus also losing the OUW US Chmapionship. The team was unsuccessful in a bid for the reintroduced OUW Tag Team Championship, however they were successful in a match at Revolution, defeating Maximum Impact in an elimination match. Since then, Robert has been primarily focused on his solo career. At Aftermath, Robert began his third reign (and longest to date) as OUW United States Champion, pinning Jaime Styles in a triple-threat match, claiming the title from X. Since then, he was victorious in his first title defense, pinning Damien Styles. The two then faced off in a rematch at OUW Malevolence 2007, a match that Robert won, claiming the briefcase after Damien grabbed it and using the title belt inside to incapacitate Damien long enough to exit the cage. After the match, Terry "Sonic" Pierce reappeared yet again, stunning RLD as he was leaving the ring. It has since been confirmed that Robert will face Terry at Turmoil, defending his OUW United States Title. At Turmoil, Robert defeated Terry to retain, but faced him again at Storm, losing the title. He was unsuccessful in a triple threat for the title at Retribution, which Michael King won by pinning Sonic. X hit him in the head with a steel chair, causing him to bleed and incapcitating him long enough for King to pick up the win, setting up a match between the two at Ascension.

2008

In a title match on Storm, Robert became a tag team champion alongside Samuel Hessingstock, beating Ethan Starr and Ben Stevens. At Ascension, he won the number one contendership to the OUW US Championship by beating X. He later shocked the world by joining with Gamr, Johnathan Pane, and Sam Hessingstock to form Revolution 2.0.
