Robert Ooley (pronounced OOH-lay, it's French) was a member of the Lock Wrestling Federation. He is currently the Director of Human Resources of the Unified Global Wrestling Coalition.

Career

Robert Ooley, (pronounced OOO - lay, it's French) who debuted as Badass Bob and would at times refer to himself as Old Bob, is best known as the Commissioner of LWF as well as half of the Puppet Masters, arguably the best tag team in LWF history.

Lock Wrestling Federation

2001

Originally known as the anti-hero Badass Bob, he made his debut at the original LWF broadcast, the Elite 8 Tournament, interrupted the opening promo by Lock and angering the owner to the point that Lock cost him his first round match against Iceman. Following a defeat at the hands of Lock in a Table Match at Maul, Bob joined with CoolJ and Sgt. Savage to form The Revolution. Bob teamed directly with CoolJ to face the Ghetto Boyz in a match at Resurrection to determine the first Tag Team Champions, but they lost the match when Samson Morris pinned CoolJ. Bob became the first Havok Champion in LWF history, but his reign lasted only three days, as Lock quickly engineered his defeated at the hands of Xecutioner. At Lord of the Ring, Bob had his biggest moment yet, when he defeated Lock in a Last Man Standing Match, and with the victory became LWF Commissioner.

Then came what was the most shocking moment in LWF history to that point, as Lock and Bob were revealed to be in cohoots the entire time. Bob joined The Regime under his full name of Robert Ooley, and together with Lock as The Puppet Masters and quickly won the LWF Tag Team Championship, although they lost the titles in a Ladder Match at Revolution. Ooley continued to have success as a singles competitor, and was the only members of the Regime to be victorious at Vengeance when he defeated Iceman, the discarded member of the Regime who was trying to wrest the power of commissionership away from Ooley.

Ooley feuded briefly with Xecutioner and lost to him in a match at Day of Reckoning, and teamed with the rest of the Regime to face The Authority at Outlast.

Ooley began toying with a newcomer to LWF, Psiko, who had pulled off upset victories against TMA and even earned himself a place in the main event at Outlast. Ooley warned Psiko that he would need to wear a bicycle helmet to protect himself if he wanted to take Ooley on, leading to multiple incidents of the two men heaving said helmet at each other and leading to the infamous Louisville Helmet Match at Betrayal, won by Psiko.

2002

In January, Ooley began the feud that he is most famous for, against Arelas. It began in a Titles versus Titles match pitting the LWF Tag Team Championship held by The Winged Ones against The Puppet Masters, with Lock holding the Cross-Hemisphere Title and Ooley holding the Havok Title. The match ended when Crow pinned Ooley. An angry Ooley continued to abuse his powers as Commissioner, prompting Arelas to challenge him directly for the job at Maximum Carnage in a match that Arelas surprised the world by winning. The two had a rematch at Lockmania, this time as a Ladder Match, and this time Ooley won his job back with the help of Lock.

After a brief feud with Fear that led to a victory over him at Maul, Ooley took advantage of Arelas winning the Tag Team Championship in a handicap match and named himself the co-champion. Ooley dubbed the team The 0wner and his Ass and would often sit and read the newspaper or drink a beer at ringside while Arelas had to defend the titles on his own, with Ooley often stepping in to get the pin himself. In a match at Resurrection each chose a new partner and faced each other for the titles, with The Puppet Masters defeating Arelas and his partner, Phoenix.

Following a defeat by The People's Alliance at Lord of the Ring, Commissioner Ooley was forced to deal with the invading Empire Wrestling Federation, and was even at one point himself held the EWF Hardcore Championship, a title he won by accident. At Revolution, Ooley defeated EWF Commissioner Freeze in a Table Match.

The Puppet Masters won the Tag Team Championship for their fourth and final time together at Meltdown.

The feud between Commissioner Ooley and Arelas re-ignited as Ooley became the next members of The Regime to challenge Arelas for the LWF World Championship, with this match happening at Vengeance as a Napoleon's Revenge Match, meaning that Ooley could change the rules at will throughout the match, a stipulation that he capitalized on to win the championship. Ooley successfully defended the title against Alan Fernandez at Day of Reckoning, but was unable to do so again at Outlast, and Alan pinned him to win the tournament and the title.

The Puppet Masters briefly joined The Following, but quickly betrayed Phoenix only to be defeated by Fire and Ice at Betrayal.

2003

After a brief hiatus Ooley returned to face CoolJ at Lockmania II, only to be defeated after CoolJ poured Heineken down Ooley's throat, enabling him to hit the Shader for the pin. As many people are aware, Heineken acts as a kryptonite to Ooley.

The Puppet Masters were again unable to wrest the Tag Team Championship away from The Following at Maul, this time losing to the team of Iceman and Flame Demon. The next month at Resurrection, Ooley was one of six participants in the first ever King of the Hill Match, although he came up short and Emperor walked away with the LWF World Championship.

In what was his final match before again taking a hiatus, Lock defeated Ooley at Lord of the Ring to retain the LWF Havok Championship.

2004

Ooley returned in January as a surprise entrant in the Massive Melee Match. The next month he defeated Arelas in a Vigilante Match to win the Cross-Hemisphere Title, which he would lose one month later in a Triple Threat Match at Lockmania III against Diablo and Iceman.

Ooley would then once again leave LWF, a retirement that has lasted ever since. He made a brief appearance in January 2008 as one of a series of videos Metalhead Matt Marauder was playing of LWF legends praising him, but Triple M quickly turned the video off after Ooley belched and asked the interviewer who he was talking about.

Unified Global Wrestling Coaltion

When LWF and GIW merged in April 2010, Ooley was revealed to be a member of the Consortium group that had purchased both companies, Ooley in the position of Director of Human Resources.

In 2011 at Infinity, Ooley revealed an entire Human Resources Department, recruiting Travis Pierce, Gabrielle Montgomery, and the Thames Valley Hit Squad, with Boss P as his enforcer.
