Romeo McCoy is a fictional e-fed character and wrestler, working on Vendetta Championship Wrestling and its wrestling program VCW Live. His gimmick is that of a wrestling prodigy with unusual chronic head pain, something of which doctors cannot diagnose the underlying cause. Because of this, he has a painkiller addiction.

Personal life

(Taken from the VCW roster page)

Romeo McCoy is a wrestling genius. Period. Hailed many times as being born with wrestling in his blood, he has spent most of his young life wrestling in one form or another. Obviously the earliest form of wrestling he has done is in the amateur level, winning championships in high school and in college. At the 2004 Athens Olympics, however, things took a turn for the worse. Before the finals, Romeo had a massive migraine; however, he refused to take medication for fear that it might affect his performance. He fought valiantly despite the pain, yet still lost the match by one pin and the time limit. Romeo went back to America dejected at not having won the Gold, despite having a justifiable reason and a good showing.

Meanwhile, the migraines didn't stop. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, and even the great Dr. House wasn't able to figure out what was wrong with him. Everyone ruled that it was because of all the wrestling. He had been prescribed medication, but it didn't get rid of the migraines, instead it reduced them to a dull yet irritating ache in the back of his head. The entire ordeal had also soured his personality, now paralleling even Dr. House's.

Because of the headaches and the medication, he was now disqualified from amateur wrestling. He therefore realized that he had no choice but to pull a Kurt Angle - going pro. Romeo wrestled in many indy circuits around the Chicagoland, Illinois, Michigan, Milwaukee, and Indiana areas, until he heard of an upstart New York-based federation being founded by the organization of FMW's Romeo Vizzini. McCoy decided to enlist himself there, as a stepping-stone for the bigger feds, a stepping-stone to reclaim his former glory, by hook or by crook.

VCW Career

McCoy spent the first two VCW shows lobbying for a match. At VCW Live 1.1, McCoy came to the ring to attack Craig Christ after Christ, along with Exodus and Erich Ahriman, had attacked Sam & Max and John Dunn after the main event tag team match. Being outnumbered three to one, McCoy was easily decimated by the three heels.

At VCW Live 1.2, Romeo McCoy made a statement by assaulting Exodus after his match with Deacon King. However, Craig Christ got the better end of the deal by sending out Erich Ahriman to attack McCoy with a steel chair and scheduling McCoy vs. Ahriman at 1.2. Later that night, McCoy would ambush Ahriman with a lead pipe, but Christ would be one step ahead of McCoy, working with James Mitchell to manipulate Colt Conrad and having him attack McCoy. Conrad would replace Ahriman in the scheduled match (in real life, Ahriman's handler left VCW before 1.2 was posted). Later, at the 1.3 card promo, Craig Christ would insert himself in the match after revealing that John Dunn was voted as the Wildcard (Christ had made a match between himself and Dunn at the end of 1.2), thus making the match a triple threat.
