From here Roxanne leaps the length or width of the ring, and performs a front dropkick to the opponent. Usually she’ll wedge a steel chair or a trash can in front of opponent before hitting this move during hardcore style or extreme matches.

STRENGTHS

Speed and Agility – Spaulding has spent hours training with Yuku learning to rely on her speed and agility to handle larger opponents. Even though she’s the smallest person on any roster, she’s proven that once she’s airborne it’s hard to stop her. She’s also become a Master of the DDT learning how to hit the move from almost any angle or direction.

Tactician – Through the tutelage of her best friend and former World Champion Fairchild Spaulding was encourage to study the style of the Dirtiest Player in the Game the Nature Boy Rick Flair, and it’s proven to be much to her advantage in gaming edges in matches as Roxanne will not hesitate to land a low blow, poke an eye out, or even bite someone.

WEAKNESSES

Lack of Endurance – Spaulding knows well enough not to even try to lift anyone in a match relying on only her highflying, striking and underhanded maneuvers, so the only weakness she has is her endurance. Though she has proven to take massive amounts of beatings in matches, realistically even she has her limits to the amount of pain she can take which isn’t much. Roxanne tries her best to stay mobile to lessen the damage done to her in a match, but all it takes is a well placed brutal assault to ground her.

History

Roxanne Spaulding was conceived to Maria Spaulding originally in Baltimore, Maryland. Her father left her before she was even born, and her mother left Maryland to Los Angelis in order to see if she could secure a better life for her and her soon to be born daughter. What was waiting for her there was very little opportunity as she took a position in a local coffee shop as a waitress, and resided in the heart of Compton the only place she could afford for her and her little girl.

Refusing to see her daughter end up like her, Maria worked two jobs in order to send Roxanne to a private school outside of Compton in Santa Barbara. This worked as a blessing and a curse for Roxanne for having been raises street smart in her neighborhood despite her ethnicity Spaulding was viewed as an outcast to many in her school except for her current best friend Caitlin Fairchild, the resident red head Amazon. A tight bond would form between the two as they ventured through high school together with dreams of making it big and becoming famous. Fairchild would evolve into a powerful female amateur wrestler. Athletic wise she had no equal among her female peers, and was a force to reckon with among her male counterparts. Nothing was more relevant than when she decided to take compete in Greco-Roman Wrestling where she basically manhandled her opponents being the first woman to capture two consecutive NCCA champions in her weight class. Her step - uncle Synch seeing her raw natural abilities encouraged her stepfather to allow him to take over her career, and hone her abilities.

Caitlin became one of the few women to be trained in the dungeon under the tutelage of the late Great Stu Hart. Feeling she was ready to be the first truly dominating female in the wrestling industry Synch got Fairchild a deal with Global Wrestling Alliance under the Fallout Championship Wrestling banner. Caitlin soon realized that as good as she was she was clearly outmatched and out classed by the many legends and veterans in the business. Not to mention the abusive management practices of her step-uncle didn’t help either. Fairchild deciding to take control of her life by first firing her step-uncle claiming her own dependence; she soon hired her long time Free Fall, who at the time was along for the ride with her as her new manager.

Fairchild also asked for her release from the GWA feeling that she had to start from the bottom and work her way up. She wrestled small circuit leagues all the while fine tuning her skills, but money was running out, and with her fighting to claim financial independence from her family and make a life for her own options was running slim for her. It was at this time she was contacted by Tommy Craze, owner of Value Sport Entertainment who had noticed her when she was in FCW during his brief invasion of the GWA. Fairchild seeing the VSE as a big federation, with a new start for mainly rookies along with a couple of legends here and there, decided that this would be a perfect new beginning for her and Roxanne. Fairchild would go on to reach her fame and become a multi-female World Heavyweight and World Tag Champion with Roxanne cheering her on and managing her career from the sidelines, but soon Spaulding would realize that in the end she was on the sidelines and that the fame solely belonged to Caitlin.

Roxanne would make the decision to step out of her friend’s shadow, and herself step into the wrestling ring. Roxanne with the help of Fairchild would begin her training in the tactical style of wrestling; Spaulding would close study the tricks of the Master himself the Dirtiest Player in the Game Ric Flair, but being that Fairchild style would not work for Roxanne because of her size she would turn to the female master of highflying wrestling; 3-Time World Champion Yuku Shiro. Spaulding would also study the skills of the Phenomenal AJ Styles and in using from what she learned from her other two mentors as well as what she studied create a style of her own that she would be comfortable with.

When Roxanne final felt she was prepared, she and Caitlin would for the first time in a long while part ways. Caitlin would stay in the VSE; while Roxanne would go to prove herself in the development league of the GWA (Global Wrestling Alliance) know as the Machine. Coming in as the smallest female wrestler in the entire company, Roxanne would prove to be the biggest threat in the company when she captured the Machine Rookie Championship in a battle royal being the first to hold the title. She would drop the title and go onto capture the Machine Elevation title from Colin Lowry in one of the best performances the Machine had seen, following that she would also captured the Machine Tag title with her current boyfriend Apocalypse also known as Malice. Spaulding would capture the tag titles twice with her boyfriend, but her greatest achievement would be when she would battle the current Machine Heavyweight Champion Jamal Jones for the title and win. Still holding the Elevation title and the tag titles, she would be the first triple crowned champion the Machine would ever have, and the first female champion of champions with the GWA. The Machine would then close shortly after leaving Spaulding the only woman to have held its last three major titles. She would go onto the big league GWF (Global Wrestling Federation) with in the GWA, and compete in the Television division until its unfortunate closing. Roxanne would then take a couple of months off and train honing her skills, and mastering several variations of the DDT. Having received a call from Adam Essex to join the new promotion within the BWI known as the PWF (Phenomenal Wrestling Federation) Spaulding would continue her career to become the next best female professional wrestler within the promotion, and achieve main event status for a possible Heavyweight or World title.

Somersault corkscrew leg drop: Roxanne is standing on an elevated position. She then jumps forward, flipping and rotating 360° simultaneously, and lands her leg on the chest of the opponent lying beneath her. Often turned into a senton, and less often press, due to the difficulty in aiming.

Corkscrew senton: This senton is performed by executing a backflip from the top turnbuckle, then spinning 180°, landing on a fallen opponent back-first. However, this move often ends with a legdrop instead of a senton, due to the difficulty of execution.

Supergirl Splash (Springboard 450° splash): Springboarding involves Roxanne using any of the ring ropes to bounce upward. The most common type of roll up is the school boy where Roxanne drops down behind the opponent and puts one arm up between the opponent's legs to pull the opponent over Roxanne so that they fall flat on their back. At this point, Roxanne would stack the fallen opponent on her shoulders for the pin. Often when female wrestlers use this move, commentators will refer to it as a school girl.

Note: The roll-up is often used to pick up sneaky wins due to it being performed from behind an opponent at anytime. The roll-up is also a popular pinfall move for heel wrestlers, who often secure the hold by using the ropes, or pull on the opponent's tights, for leverage.

Small package: The Small package or Inside Cradle is a pinning maneuver where Roxanne applies a front facelock on the opponent, falls backwards while turning, hooking the opponents far leg with her legs and the opponents other leg with her free arm, ending up on top of the opponent, pinning her shoulders against the mat.

Straddle: In this pinning technique, Roxanne stands with her feet on either side of an opponent who is lying face-up on the mat. Then Roxanne kneels across the opponent's chest facing her head, with each knee beside the chest. Sometimes Roxanne sits on the opponent's chest for greater pressure. There is also a reverse variation in which Roxanne is facing the opponent's feet.

Shoulder straddle pin: Is typical variation of the straddle pin. It sees Roxanne kneeling on the opponents' shoulders facing the head, pinning them on the mat. Another variation sees Roxanne sits on the neck or face of the opponent with or without the knee on the shoulder. Primarily called a facesit, it is used mostly in mixed professional wrestling only to entertain the crowd.

Victory roll: Also known as the Mexican Rolling Clutch Pin. Roxanne jumps onto her opponents shoulders from behind and rolls forward. As Roxanne flips over, they hook the opponents shoulders with her legs, flipping the opponent over onto her shoulders. Roxanne hooks both of the opponents legs to hold them in place for the pin.
