Serena Bertrand (née Robson; born Emily Lita Brooks; November 16, 1986), known by her stage name Serena Dent, is an American wrestler and singer. She is best known for working with such wrestling federations as ZXWWF and Ground Zero Wrestling Association. Currently, she is the commissioner of GZWA Primetime. She also was signed with Sire Records until December of 2011.

Early Life Edit

Emily Lita Brooks was born in a small town in Lithuania, where her father was on military duty. When Emily was about 10 years old, her parents moved out of Europe and back to the States due to her father's injuries and forced retirement. There they settled down in Miami, Florida. After finishing high school, Emily ran away from her family and moved to Manhattan, New York.. She legally changed her name to Serena Robson as to hide from her abusive father. She is still living in New York City and had enrolled in Manhattan University to study arts.

Professional wrestling career Edit

ZXWWF (2008 - 2010)Edit

Ground Zero Wrestling Associaton (GZWA; 2010) Edit

Serena made her first appearance in the company on July 23, 2010, during the first house show. Her first match was against a former rival from ZXWWF, Amiee Vaughan and the match ended in Robson's victory, which sparked the rivalry flame once again. A few days before the official debut of GZWA's show Primetime, Serena was approached by Stunray, who was also a rival of Amiee and her cousin Delta Madison, and was offered a partnership during the war against Vaughan.

Personal Life Edit

Serena's family members are all deceased. Her mom Claire died, while giving birth to Serena. Her older brother Derrick died in 2008 after a car crash caused by a drunken driver and her father died in early 2010 after a long illness.

Being a recovering heroin addict, Serena swore not to use alcohol or drugs ever again. But from time to time, she did smoke. She had spent two months in The Saint Judes Retreats to fight with her addictions.

Robson had an on - off relationship with fellow wrestler Alex Shelley, while they were both working for ZXWWF. According to Serena, their relationship ended on a high note and there is no anger between them.

Serena was married to Landon Wilson, a singer and occasional drummer in the band "Heartbreak Beloved", in January 2010. The couple had met in a "Panic! at the Disco" concert. They separated after only 6 months together.

In May, 2012, during a GZWA's pay-per-view, Robson announced that she is pregnant with her first child and planning to get married for the second time. The father of the child was unknown, but was rumoured to be Ville Valo, the frontman of the Finnish band "HIM", but the rumours were eventually denied by Robson herself.

On September 16th, 2012 Robson got married to Christopher Bertrand, the lead guitarist of the band "Tragic Heroes" in a private ceremony in New York City, New York. After marriage she took her husband's last name and became Serena Bertrand. The same week, on the 19th of September, Bertrand gave birth to a baby girl, named Alexandria Reyna Bertrand.

Bertrand has stated in an interview to "People" magazine that from time to time she likes playing video games and that her favorite is the "Tekken" series. Nina Williams, was stated to be her favorite character in the series and Serena's in ring personality and attire has hints of the characters personality.
