The Earl of Hurtford (born Garreth William Peacock on April 13, 1970), is a British professional wrestler currently wrestling for the WNWA.
History[]
Lord Hurtford is the aerial half of The Restoration with Lord Shaftsbury. The Restoration are classic 1980's heels who openly object to the current state of professional wrestling, particularly the violence, crude language, and vulgarity of the WNWA. Their goal is to restore wrestling to wrestling. The only kingdom they really restore is 80's style Heeldom!
Hurtford’s family served as feudal vassals to Shaftsbury’s for centuries in Medieval England and are still obligated to this day. Hurtford wrestled for five years in Europe, Japan, and Canada before joining the WNWA in 2000.
Hurtford has feuded with Kevin Knox and Claude Earl Murdoch. In tag team competition with Shaftsbury, Hurtford has also feuded with the Buffet of Violence and The Comintern.
Hurtford and Shaftsbury are currently engaged in a feud with Seamus Street, whom The Restoration have berated and humiliated for his Irish heritage. Street defeated Hurtford for the WNWA Northern Heavyweight Championship at the WNWA Legends Reunion pay-per-view on August 20. Hurtford was instrumental in Shaftsbury winning that championship from Street in October at Smoky Mountain Slaughter.
