Tim Harrison is an American professional wrestler currently under an exclusive contract to Jay Jefferson's Universal Wrestling League where is is the United States Champion as well as one half of the PWH Tag Team Champions.

Early Life[]

Harrison led a simple childhood, having grown up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He attended the Quakrttown Community School Disctrict in Quakertown, PA, for almost the entirety of his schooling, until his family moved to inner-city Philadelphia, where he lived some three blocks away from the famed ECW Arena. Harrison was an avid wrestling fan from a young age, growing up watching the likes of Hulk Hogan, and the Ultimate Warriors. However, it was in the more extreme aspects of the sport that Harrison would find himself more immensed in.

Career[]

Extreme Championship Wrestling[]

At the mere age of fifteen, Harrison began training with The Phenomenal Blu. Although Harrison was underage to legally compete, he still managed to get booked by lying about his age, and submitting a fake photo ID. Harrison and Blu would put on a feud that would span some two years before Blu's eventual departure from the company. Harrison would continue in ECW, making a name for himself as a hardcore wrestler in matches with the likes of Sabu, and Tommy Dreamer. Harrison left ECW in early 1998, when the company decided they wanted to head in a different direction.

Teaming With Blu[]

Harrison would end up finding his way, with the help of the Phenomenal Blu, to the Coastal Wrestling Alliance, where he and Blu battled over the company's main title for several months, Blu coming out the victor in the feud. Harrison and Blu would eventually team up, competing in tag team matches both in the CWA, and in numerous other smaller promotions. The two caputed tag team gold numerous times in the Pennsylvania region of the NWA. However, eventually the two would split, entering into a bitter feud, which saw Harrison put out of action for nearly a year.

Time Off, and the Return to ECW: 1999-2000[]

The feud with Blu put Harrison out of action for the remainder of 1998, and part of 1999. While out of action, Harrison hit the books, studying up on matches and moves from across the sea, learning that Japan had a very different style of wrestling than America did. He decided at this point, that he would spend some time in Japan, learning under the masters. However, that time would not come for many years, as he returned to ECW in late 1999, having recovered from his injury. Harrison never found much success on his second trip through ECW, the bookers never being able to place him in much of a feud. He would leave the company shortly before it was bought out by WWE.

Japan: 2001-2004[]

Shortly after his release from the newly WWE-acquired ECW, Harrison sought out competition in Japan, having become interested in wrestling overseas via Japanese involvement in ECW. Harrison spent most of his time in Japan working the undercard. He never reached particularly great success in Japan, but he learned a lot that he would bring back to the states. This was when he adapted the Asai DDT as his primary finishing maneover, which he would later call "The Free Fall" in honor of the release of In Flames' album, Rerout to Remain.

Slamtime Wrestling Coalition: 2004-2005[]

Harrison signed with the Slamtime Wrestling Coalition in 2004, a few days after returning from Japan, eager to take the spotlight and show off his new skills. SWC would package him as an upper-card competetor. In Harrison's first match, he bested the likes of The Phenomenal Blu, and up-and-comer Matt Mathews in an 8-man over-the-top-rope scramble match for the SWC Championship. Harrison was a serious underdog in this match due to his small size compared to the rest of the field. But nonetheless, he came out on top. Harrison would hold onto the belt for several weeks, until eventually losing it to Matt Mathews. This was the first major title Harrison held. Harrison suffered another injury, having landed poorly while executing a high-risk move in the title defense against Mathews, and was put out of action for another year. With the resurfacing of SWC in 2006, hwoever, Tim Harrison returned, eager to get a second championship reign. His chance would come in a Phenomenal Death Trap match involving himself, SWC Champion Matt Mathews, and the innovator of the match, the Phenomenal Blu. Mathews would walk out of the match the winner, and Harrison would leave the SWC for good. With this championship run, however, Harrison's star-power was achieved.

"The Plague," and Japan: 2007[]

Having had some time in the starlight, Harrison wanted to return to what he knew best, smaller independant promotions. With the help of a friend, playing off the "Blue Death" moniker, Harrison was repackaged as "The Plague," a wrestler who wore entirely black, including a black mask. He traveled numerous independent promotions in the eastern United States, never finding much success with the gimmick. Rather quickly, he would drop the idea completely, and return to Japan once again, on invitation from NOAH. Harrison would compete in Japan for the majority of 2007, and the first half of 2008 before receiving a call from former SWC opponent Kurt Noble offering him a job back in the states. Harrison, once again having picked up some new moves in Japan, returned to the States, looking for fame once again.

The Quixotic Wrestling League: 2008[]

Harrison would quickly make an impact on the newly formed QWL (run by Noble, and Robert Banks), by defeating newcomer Mr. Hollywood on the debut show. Harrison was surprised some, when long time friend and partner the Phenomenal Blu appeared at ringside, simply watching the match. The following week, Banks announced that Harrison would be given the opportunity to choose his own opponents, via the Harrison Invitational. Harrison would quickly amend that to be the Hardcore Harrison Invitational. Under the first week of the invitational, Harrison invited Tic Tic to the ring, in a no-disqualification match, Tic Tic having been eliminated from his previous match via disqualification. Once again, Blu would attend the match, acting as Harrison's manager to counterpart Rick X, Tic Tic's manager. Harrison went on to defeat Tic Tic via referee stoppage when Harrison hit Tic Tic in the head with a metal baseball bock, knocking him out. The following week, Harrison used his Invitational to call Blu himself out. Blu states earlier in the evening that his intentions the entire time, had been to tag team with Harrison. The two would put on a match widely regarded as the top match QWL has seen as of yet, as well as a match that Blu would call "arguably one of the best non-hardcore matches" in his career. The match ended in a no-contst when Mr. Hollywood interfered, hitting both men with a chair. Blu and Harrison would come together to fight Hollywood off, then shared a handshake. A week later, Harrison defeated the then-QWL Touchstone Champion, Smart Mark via disqualification when, after Harrison hit mark with his finisher, the Gyroscope, Harrison was attacked by an unknown attacker. The attacker was later revealed to be Robert Banks' new enforcer, Max Payne. Due to Banks' frustration with Harrison's antics throughout the "violence free" week, Banks booked Harrison to fight the Phenomenal Blu once again, att QWL's first pay per view, Independence from Imagination. After arguing over stipulations, Harrison laid down the challenge for a parking lot barbed wire ladder match for Blu's Samurai Sword Heavyweight Championship. Blu accepted, but later added the defunct SWC Heavyweight Title to the mix. The stipulation of the match stated that the winner would be the man who climbed a ladder (with each rung wrapped in barbed wire) and grabbed a title belt (which was also wrapped in barbed wire) hanging from the ceiling of the arena parking garage, and hit his opponent in hte face with it. As was expected, the match was incredibly violent. Tim ended up losing the match.

The following week, Harrison would once again use the Harrison Invitational to call the Phenomenal Blu out. Except this time, he called him out as his tag team partner, putting a bid into a tag team extravaganza match that Robert Banks had made, to crown number one contenders for the QWL Couplet Titles. Blu accepted the proposal. Blu and Harrison would lose that match when Mr. Hollywood pinned Harrison with a rollup, when Harrison was unaware that he was the legal man, a rare mistake. That same week, Robert Banks announced a title match for QWL's upcoming pay per view, Configuration of the Ring, which would see Harrison and Blu team up once again to take on Blood Pump and QWL Paramount Champion Obscene. The match would be a "winner take all" title match, for Obscene's QWL Paramount Title, and Blu's SWC and Samurai Sword Heavyweight Titles, where the man who scored the pinfall or submission would acquire all three title belts. The idea behind this match was the unify all three titles, thus raising the prestige on what would have been the QWL Undisputed Title.

However, just one week later, it was announced that QWL was no more. Due to sponsorship woes, Kurt Noble was forced to sell the company. The man who purchase it was none other than the Phenomenal Blu. Blu quickly rebuilt the federation as the Phenomenal Wrestling Organisation. The PWO would falter before it ever really got off the ground due to issues backstage, and the company's financial woes. Blu has stated that he plans on giving it another go, although both the timing on that, and Tim Harrison's possible involvement, are both uncertain.

The Universal Wrestling League[]

Climbing the Ladder[]

In the mean time, Harrison has signed a contract with the Universal Wrestling League, and has begun running small vignettes known as The Harrison Chronicals. Harrison defeated Jace Maddox in his debut, in pretty strong style. On July 23rd, 2007, at UWL's Championship Extravaganza IV, Harrison lost to John Anthony, Anthony having to knock him out in order to pick up the win. Harrison would go on the following week, to defeat Krotas and Drakonin in a three way dance, pinning Drakonin with a perfect inside cradle, a move he picked up in Japan. On August 6th, 2008, Harrison would step into the ring with 2007 Coronation Cup winner Rich Morrison. Morrison would come out the victor in controversial fashion, when a friend of his interfered on his behalf. Harrison would retaliate by attacking Morrison and his crew with a baseball bat after the match. Following this, Harrison took two weeks off for personal reasons. Around this time, Harrison's other venture, the Quixotic Wrestling League folded, as well as the short-lived Phenomenal Wrestling Organization, thus leaving Harrison with the ability to focus on the UWL full time.

United States Champion[]

This lead to him returning on Auguth 30th at UWL's Honor and Glory pay per view supercard, where he defeated Dave Hunter for the UWL United States Championship. On September 4th, Harrison stepped into the ring once again with longtime rival Matt Mathews, but this time as a team. The two battled UWL World Heavyweight Champion Robbie Venom, and former United States champion Dave Hunter all the way to the 30 minute time limit. After the match, Venom turned on his former partner, which signed the beginning of the end of Venom's Celtic Coalition stable. The following week, September 10th, Harrison and Mathews would team up once again, this time with The Phenomenal Blu added in, to take on the team of Thaurer, Tiger Claw and Dave Hunter in a six man tag match which would see Harrison's team coming out the victors. On September 20th, at UWL's Pure Aggression supercard, Harrison would make his first title defense, a success, against Dave Hunter in a ladder match, UWL's second ever Ladder match. At UWL's Venom vs. Hunter II supercard, Harrison successfully defended the United States title against Johnny Dalton. Harrison went on to successfully defend his title once again, at UWL Southern Comfort supercard, against Jerry McClean and Blood Pump in a triple threat match that he actually requested. Harrison would continue to defend his belt regularly, as he took on Blood Pump in a title match two weeks later, and came out victorious. Harrison was set to defend against Blood Pump for a third time, this time in a submission match at Final Encounter, but UWL closed its doors prior to the match taking place.

EPIC[]

To open UWL's Pure Aggression supercard, Tim Harrison, Matt Mathews, Leon Tyrell, and The Phenomenal Blu would all meet in the ring, and announce themselves as a new faction, know as EPIC (standing for, "Excellence, Perfection, Innovation, Champions." Although Blu did not announce himself as a member right away, along with John Anthony, he would join later in the night in one of the most shocking moments in recent supercard history. On September 24th, Harrison would join up with fellow EPIC members Leon Tyrell and Matt Mathews, to take on the team of Smart Mark, Tiger Claw, and Johnny Dalton. EPIC came out on top in this match, building on their already full head of steam. The following week, the October 1st television taping, Harrison defeated former UWL World Heavyweight Champion Ciarán McConnell. The following week, however, Harrison suffered his first loss in quite a long time, as he teamed up with fellow EPIC member John Anthony to take on the Best Team Eva combination of Ciarán McConnell and Shawn Stevens. Harrison was not involved in the decision in the match, something which left quite a sour taste in his mouth for the following several weeks. Anthony left the company the following week, for personal reasons. At the UWL's Three Year Anniversary show, Tim Harrison teamed up with EPIC to take on the BTE in an elimination match. John Anthony returned for one night only to even the numbers between the two factions, as Leon Tyrell was not yet ready to step into the ring. EPIC would end up losing the match via disqualification. During the match, Tim Harrison eliminated Ciarán McConnell, Johnny Dalton, and Shawn Stevens single handedly. The match was lost when the Phenomenal Blu and Matt Mathews interfered, attacking Robbie Venom. Afterwards, Tim Harrison, in a bout of anger, attacked both Blu and Mathews with a chair, and announced that it was he who had cost Mathews his UWL Heritage Championship several weeks earlier. UWL would take a short hiatus over the winter holidays, and was set to come back with Access Denied IV, where Harrison was set to take on Matt Mathews in singles action, however, UWL would shut it's doors before the event could take place.

Pro Wrestling FIRE[]

Tim Harrison would join up with Pro Wrestling FIRE in late 2008 into early 2009, while his main employer, the Universal Wrestling League, was on hiatus. He debuted strong, defeating Johnny Throttle in his debut match. The following week, however, Harrison would suffer his first legitimate pinfall loss in several months, falling to rising star Chris Hart. Two weeks later, Harrison would step into the ring with off and on friend and rival, The Phenomenal Blu, defeating Blu with the Free Fall. After the match, Blu viciously attacked Harrison, and quitting the company. It took the likes of Blu's new protegé Hangman to calm Blu down. The following week, Harrison once against stepped into the ring with Chris Hart, as well as Dazz. Hart once again scored the victory over Harrison, continuing to be a thorn in Harrison's side. Harrison would then take a hiatus from the wrestling business in order to focus on other things.

Pro Wrestling Honor[]

Six months later, Tim Harrison would surprise the Pro Wrestling Honor audience by unexpectedly showing up and assaulting "The Soul of Philly" TJ at PWH Supercard Oblivious to Honor. Harrison announced his intentions of bringing the hardcore element to Jay Jefferson's new company. The following weeks, he defeated Blake Michaels and Johnny Dalton in no-disqualification matches. At his first PWH Supercard, Under Pressure, Tim Harrison fought TJ to a no-contest in a match which the referee would stop due to excessive violence. Surprising the world, Harrison would announce his partner for the Allied Powers tag team tournament some weeks later to be TJ. Shortly before Allied Powers, Tim Harrison stepped into the ring with John Anthony, the very same man that delivered him his first loss in the Universal Wrestling League. Harrison came out on top in their confrontation. Come Allied Powers, Harrison and TJ were set to face the Best Team Eva in the first round. In a stunning move, Tim Harrison turned on his teammate, beating TJ with a baseball bat before leaving the ring, turning heel in the process. Over the next couple of weeks, Tim would face and defeat both Ciaràn McConnell, and the Phenomenal Blu. After his match with Blu, Tim watched as Jerry McClean stormed the ring and attacked Blu. Tim would shock the world once again when he returned to the ring with a baseball bat, attacking Blu and his partner Josh Eagles, and coming to the aid of Jerry McClean. McClean would then announce that he and Harrison will collectively be known as the Hardcore Revolution. At PWH Supercard Some Like It Hot Harrison and McClean were successful in their bids for the PWH Tag Team Championships when they defeated Old School Honor in a street fight. The following weeks would see Tim Harrison do battle against John Anthony once again, as well as the Phenomenal Blu, where Tim would lose to Blu in a tables match on the final PWH show before it was re-merged with UWL.

==Phenomenal Wrestling Revolution Although Tim is not a member of the active roster of Joseph Collins' and the Phenomenal Blu's Phenomenal Wrestling Revolution, he does provide commentary for the supercards, as well as manages PWR Heavyweight Champion, and his own student, Dane Sullivan.

UWL Redux[]

During the end of July, 2009, Jay Jefferson announced that the Universal Wrestling League would return, and merge with Pro Wrestling Honor. This would see the reactivation of the UWL United States Championship, with Tim Harrison as it's holder still. This made Harrison a double champion, along with the PWH Tag Team Championships held by him and Jerry McClean. Tim is currently scheduled to face Seth Riggs at the next TV Taping. He is also slated as one of the three contenders in the UWL United States, UWL Heritage, and PWH Pride Championship unification match at Rebirth: Stage One along with Shawn Stevens and Josh Eagles.
