[edit] Biography
Trish Leslie Newborn (born September 12, 1978) is an American female professional wrestler.
Originally, from San Diego, California, Newborn attended modeling school while growing up in the fame and glamour of southern California, an experience she says led her to become successful and comfortable in front of cameras and performances in the ring. Training hard, Newborn has always been known for her intense work-out sessions before any match, something that her father left behind was something she kept with her since his untimely death due to drunk driving. Diamond, a long time friend was one of those that brought her to the dance. WFWA was holding auditions for the next diva of it's newly founded Women's division that had been token off just four mouths par to the event that was being held. Her friend, Diamond had suggested Trish sign up and a least try out. Within three weeks, Trish Newborn had been signed to the division and met her first real boyfriend, Eric Morrison. His frame had already been achieved as he became the new Television champion of the male division. Trish and Eric became serious after awhile and things were looking up as Trish grabbed her first reign as WFWA Women's champion. She would go on to win the championship two more times. However, after the rivalry between her and Tory Blaze came to end so did WFWA. After five long years, WFWA had come to it's finally demise and was never coming back. Morrison had mysteriously left her without saying a word.
Her success would carry her to become the first female competitor to win the 3WL Women's Tag Team championships but had to share her success with a former rival. The titles would change hands to Shelly The Bod and Erika Rage one month later. The two former team mates would rage war on each other yet again causing the Executive Committee of World Women's Wrestling League to sign a match between them before someone got to seriously hurt. Tory would come out the victor, and Trish lost interest with the promotion and refused to resign with the company. Sources backstage during the event claimed it was a set up for her to lose the match only to push Tory Blaze to better things within the company itself. She has never released a statement nor ever talked about it to this day.
Years would past until the next wave of Newborn would strike professional wrestling. On May 2nd 2007, rumours had hit the entire wrestling as Trish Newborn would sign a deal with “The Big Guy” to his three year empire known has Xtreme Fighting Championship. After hearing of her past success with past companies, “The Big Guy” had high hopes to bring in this native from southern California to a new set of crowd, the place where extremist are kings. Her first match was against Jared the Subway Guy in a dark match just before Blood Fusion aired. Newborn would later start rivalries with Traci Copeland that pitted into a few matches together. The bitterer of these two women didn't just stop when XFC closed its doors forever. It picked up right where it left off when both women signed onto World Wide Wresting; they were like hell cats going at it for the honor to become W3 Women's champion. In W3, Newborn had already a new rival added to her list, Annabelle Sanchez. Newborn picked up the first strike against Sanchez scooping up the win, and then the following week, Annabelle won against Trish pinning her for the three count. W3 Commissioner Ariel Phoenix had ruled that both Women made it to the Pay-Per-View for a fatal four match to have honor of being the first W3 champion at W3 Extinction. Trinity Evans Vs. Annabelle Sanchez Vs. Angel Conor Vs. Trish Newborn – The match was a set under elimination rules and was going in favor of the veteran Trish Newborn, having eliminated Angel Conor from the match in the early going, and it was left to three women, one title. Trish would not be successful in this match, she may have pinned Evans with her springboard bulldog but didn't expect Sanchez to be waiting with a roll-up.
Trish would eventually pick up the title after two long weeks of fighting each other in non-title matches. Her Fourth title came right as Traci Copeland entered the World Wide Wrestling promotion; she'd been saying smack for weeks about her feud with Newborn wasn't over. Traci became obsessed with beating Newborn for the remainder of the W3 month. The two would have their match ups non-title for a few weeks leading into the next Pay-Per-View, W3 Big City Brawl. It was supposed to be billed as a singles match for the title but never came to pass. Turning out that “The Big Guy” had sold his company to an unknown buyer, this person had also bought the former contracts of XFC competitors. Trish was back on the island was ready for action. She signed her first match against a rookie named Tommy Ramano going for the World title but was unable to put up the victory due to outside distracting at the hands of Philip Adams. It would be weeks before she picked up a win, and then she won another match against another rookie. Now in a coma, what will the status of Newborn become? And who will be under her feet when she aims for success again?
