UWL United States Championship

The UWL United States Championship is a Championship in the Universal Wrestling League. The belt serves as a secondary title on par with the UWL Heritage Championship (which serves as a "stepping stone"). It primarilly serves as a mid-tier Championship while the Heritage Championship regularly flucates between main eventers and mid-carders.

The United States Championship was announed via newsletter on May 8, 2008. On May 21 a mini-tournament was held involving Canadian Kid, Alex Storm, Robbie Venom and Chris Nichols, Venom went on to win the Championship.

The current Champion is Tim Harrison who is in his first reign. He defeated David Hunter to win the belt on August 30th in Knoxville, Tennessee at Honor & Glory.
