Featured Federations
Hey Man,
I was wondering if the UCF (Ultimate Combat Federation) could be featured. I don't own it but I'd call myself one of the premier members. The federation is one of all original characters, its been running for 8-9 years straight without any breaks. Title histories are the most part intact. The federation has a certain sense of history where you're always living up to the greats of the past. In the entire history of the federation there has never been one late show.
It's honestly the best federation I've ever been a part of and I'd love to see it featured here to help it grow even further.
The URL is thog.conforums.com.
Thanks, Midnight (Dan)
Welcome
Hi Adam, (late) welcome on eWE. I've noted your question on Sundog's talk page and left a comment there now :-)
I think eWE still needs one or two committed admins, so in general, I can make you one (I'm Wikia staff). Before that, I suggest you set a valid e-mail address in your preferences and authenticate it afterwards (this is recommended for all admins), so that you're better reachable by other users. regards --rieke 15:23, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Heya Rieke. I've added the email and created a page for me in general. Thanks for your confidence in me - I would have been editing more recently but I've been on holidays and without internet access. Cheers and hope to hear from you again. --Adamaniac 17:12, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, you've got some more tabs now, too :-) Please have a look at Help:Administrators' how-to guide before you use the new functions. It might be helpful to create Foo123 for first testing (deletion/undeletion) und to learn how this shows up in the logs.
- If you are unsure what to do in a specific case, or need any other help, please leave me a note. Cheers --rieke 17:46, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Tagging
Hi, I've noted [1]. Commonly, it's very helpful for other authors to provide an understandable reason for tagging a new article for deletion (if it's not only a vandalism or nonsense page). Also, I would consider you leave a short note about this on the authors talk page so that he has a chance to improve his article or to change something if needed. Regards --rieke 17:55, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Heya Rieke. A question on deletion - is a tag or period of time needed for article deletion if it is violating the policy? I've been looking through the various "EMF" pages here that deal with real-world wrestlers in a federation which is against policy of eWE in particular, and I've already deleted a few, but I left the rest in case something was needed. Give us a shout when you can. --Adamaniac 12:04 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Good question, afaik there is no defined period set here on eWE (you can define it in detail, together with Sundogs, if you think it's useful). But normally waiting about one week should be ok. Imho it doesn't really matter if you wait 6 days, exactly 7 days, or 10 days in another case. Just waiting at least a bit is a good form of politeness – especially new authors often do not know about the backgrounds and policies of eWE, and they just enjoy contributing, so try not to bite the newbies, please :-) --rieke 04:29, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Will do. Thanks again --Adamaniac 14:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi There
Hello there and welcome to eW!
I like to have you and I work together on the Deletion and Clean-Up pages. I agree with Rieke and yourself, I have noticed that some of our subscribers and non-subscribers don't realize that it is against the rules here to have a "REAL" federation here. I do have "REAL" named federations, however, I use fake wrestlers. Here is a suggestion, look at the history page of the page you are on and see the last poster on that page. I hope this helps. Happy editing! Sundogs 20:10, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Hey
Remember me from the GWC?? I'm The Emperor, so I start to wonder about creating a Wiki page here, could you help me, or suggesting that I should wait for a while?? I think I can use you as my advisor for Wikia page... Rakuten06 22:11, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Delections
There were redirects to them. I took liberty to remove them. However, I would bring them back for you. I also like to get a more private talk to you about certain things. I will send you an email in a minute with my ideas. Sundogs 23:17, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Administrators meeting
I sent 2 emails already this morning. Please read them. I am ready to have our first administrators meeting sometime today. Cheers. Sundogs 16:20, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Administrator's position
I certainly appreciate the offer. Is the position more of a casual thing (i.e., I would essentially be a normal editor, just with the ability to clean things up more thoroughly) or is it a more formal position? Sorry if the question seems vague, I guess I just had a difficult time phrasing it properly. Jeff Silvers 03:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, well that sounds fine. Sure, I'll accept. And thanks again for even considering me. :) Jeff Silvers 05:41, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
91.108.179.196 has added "mk" to the Extreme Championship Wrestling Federation page, followed by creating the ECWF Genocide page, in order to add just "kkkkkkkkkk" to the page. These are the only two contributions of this user. I've reverted the ECWF page, and created a decent Genocide page over the top of his work, but it seems he wants to vandalise, or create and vandalise, all the ECWF pages he can. Koberulz 14:19, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
More ECWF Vandalism
91.108.189.146 created the ECWF Bound For Glory page, and held down the h key. I won't need that page for almost a year, so I've added a delete tag to it. Koberulz 11:24, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
XPWA Fed Type?
I was curious. On the main page it says that XPWA is an AOL dice fed. What's a dice fed, exactly? Ragnal
Spam Filters
Hello, I'm having the problem with creating a page for my promotion because when I create the link to my external website, wiki says that it was blocked by the spam filter because of an external link which it lists as my home page at http://www.p rowrestlingcouncil.350.com/Home.htm. I didn't know this is considered as a spam site as it's my home site. Can you or someone look into this issue and possibly allow the web page through the filters? I'd appreciate it and thank you in advance.Prowrestlingcouncil 14:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
New Era Wrestling, Administrators Meeting, and Archived
I have allowed Sean Cole to have access to New Era Wrestling. He is right and I know I have some pages that are old and not updated in a while, but, give him this chance. Also, I like to talk about the layout of the Main Page and other small things. I be back in my normal routine end of this week if you and Jeff Silvers like to meet up or individually through im or email. I have also archived your page for you. It needed it and no worries. Sundogs user | talk | eWE wiki 22:48, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Nominations
I really like to talk to you about your nominations for featured federations with you and Jeff Silvers if I can, but, if you like to talk this weekend, just leave me a time in US Central Time which is some 11 hours from you. Also, I like to go through a rough draft on both of our Featured projects for guidelines. I hope to talk to you soon. Sundogs eWE user talk 20:28, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Featured Wrestler
Since I read that you're taking nominations for the next Featured Wrestler section, I'd like to nominate Krimson Mask from Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW) as a future entry. The profile documents the unique backstory of Mask, chronicling his early beginnings, wrestling history, and latest rivalry in LPW. In addition, the Krimson Mask page contains:
- Proper Wikipedia formatting
- Original graphics
- Original match history template
- Direct links to promos and matches
If it does get featured, I hope more e-wikia users will apply the techniques used in the Krimson Mask profile to improve on their own wikipages. --Spriggins 05:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Featured Wrestler Nominations For April
I'd like my wrestler Adam Leos to be nominated for featured wrestler. Thanks
AdamLeos 18:29, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Adam Leos
I'd like to nominate Matt Mathews for featured wrestler. The bio includes standard wikipedia formatting, a comprehensive history on the wrestler, and it is also updated on roughly a bi-weekly basis. Unlike the Krimson Mask profile it doesn't have a match history because the character has been in far too many matches to list them all. (roughly 120 off the top of my head) Matt Mathews 19:21, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hey just getting back to you. I removed all those deadlinks, and I use John Morrison as my poser... and please, if you're dead set on making me an image please use Morrison, not Nitro. Likewise, the surname is Matews, there is only one "t", the reason I spell it as such is in my bio. (Personal Life). For the general color scheme of the image, use purple and gold, prefably the former for the background and the latter for the text. Matt Mathews 04:07, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Since this has been her month out of the three Ragnals, I'm nominating Linda Ragnal for the featured wrestler. -(Really shouldn't have to say who this is)
I'd like to nominate CeW (er, sorry DoD) World Heavyweight Champion The Real F'n Deal Jake Jiles as Wrestler of the Month. Being a new name to CeW, RFD had his name as #1 contender after the first PPV. After being defeated by then champ Joey Windsor with a tazer RFD came back in an Octagon (MMA rules) match to defeat Windsor for the Heavyweight Title. He also reunited with his former stablemates in the DoD to form the RFDoD (Real F'n Dragons of Destruction) who have been on a COMPLETE tear of the CeW over the past month. Motrubl4u 14:29, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I'd like to nominate my primary wrestler, Daniel Hutchinson, as the next Wrestler of the Month. Why, you ask? He is one-half of the first-ever Extreme Championship Federation World Tag Team Champions, and the first-ever, 2-time, longest-reigning (91 days), and shortest reigning (about 4 minutes during the first reign) ECF World Heavyweight Champion. In addition, he's also a current half of the World Wrestling Headquarters World Tag Team Champions (with a wrestler by the name of Buddy Aces), and Daniel's a former WWH International Champion as well. And all of this is just after about 6 months in e-fedding.
Hope you consider my character for WotM. Thanks either way! ^_^
Hey, Adamaniac, it's JerseyDH here again. I managed to get rid of the broken links on my wrestler's (Daniel Hutchinson) page, so it should all be good to go for nomination. ^_^ --JerseyDH 19:40, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
This is only somewhat related, I would just like to say you never got back to me about nomination, and I figured you'd see it if I put it here. Matt Mathews 02:21, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
EWT Pages?
Dude, I just noticed the EWT-related pages were tampered with. Not sure who it was, but I may know the why behind it. Just wanna thank you for putting things back in place. -User: Ragnal
Featured Wrestler Nominations For May
Hello Adamaniac. I'd like to nominate my character, Draven cage from TWOStars as next month's highlighted wrestler. He's the current TWOStars Triple Crown Champion and the outright owner of the retired TWO World Tag Team Titles. His record in tag team wrestling was unsurpassed in TWOStars (the reason the belts were retired in the first place) and his singles career has gone from strength to strength. Regards, DC. Draven cage 20:52, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Hey Adamanic, this is Jon Sloan. I just wanted to see if I could get in on some of the action by nominating Enigma as the next Wrestler of the Month. I am nominating him simply because he is a main draw in No Limits Championship Wrestling and has been able to maintain this status for years. He’s recently reinvented his character, displaying his versatility as well as his originality. Keeping a character interesting overtime is very difficult to do and he has adapted in order to achieve that. This guy has so many accomplishments I can’t even remember them all off the top of my head. While his page is fairly new, the character he portrays is a veteran to the game and I think being featured on the main page may encourage him to update his character’s history regularly now that he actually has somewhere to put it.
I will greatly appreciate you considering this character for WotM. Thanks for your time. -Jon Sloan.
Hi Skyles, I'd like to nominate Magic as WotM, simply because of the tag title win - big milestone there. It's not much, I know, but I'd really appreciate it if you consider it. ;)
I'd also like to talk to you about making VCW the fed of the month. - Romeo/Pepseeh
I'd like to nominate Mike Ragnal as a featured wrestler. Ragnal 16:09, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
I would like to nominate my character Danger Liam for the WOTM contest. I've only in the last week created the page but it shows a full history of my character and includes all the information you would expect form a legit wrestlers page. Danger Liam 21:55, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Featured Federation Nomination
Hello,
I would like to nominate the Pro Wrestling Council for Featured Federation consideration. The Pro Wrestling Council was established in March of 2008 and uses the NWA-style of promoting talent and federations. We are looking to grow and provide the very best in a fun environment. Currently we are accepting applications for talent and federations to join. We offer many roleplaying, scripting, and free thinking styles
With the help of ewrestling.wikia, we believe you featuring Pro Wrestling Council may help draw some attention to our hard work and determination to get our machine going. Please take a look at our established ewrestling.wikia home page and our external home page at, www.prowrestlingcouncil.350.com/Home.htm (ewrestling sees our home page as a spam link).
Or direct to our forums at New Haven : Pro Wrestling Council
We are working hard to get membership, so we can share our brand with everyone. With your help, we'd appreciate it if you consider the Pro Wrestling Council as a Featured Federation in the near future.
Thanks for your time,
Prowrestlingcouncil 15:04, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Was hoping to get credit for my quote
Hello, you have a quote of mine featured in the History of eWrestling section. "golden era of ewrestling" which is the title of a column that I wrote for EWPlanet in 2001, in which I stated that 2001 would be looked back upon as the golden era. Now that my prediction has become truth, I'd like a little credit thankya.
