Pre-Wrestling

Walter waa born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ken and Yavone Crowe. Ken Crowe was a member of the board of trustees for the Gold Nugget Casino, and at a young age Walter was exposed to the business life. He graduated from Morris Sunset East High School in 1972, and from UNLV in 1976 with a degree in business administration.

Training

While Walter was attending school at UNLV, his interest in wrestling sparked. He began to work out and train for a possible stint in the ring. Upon his graduation, he moved off to train with WWF superstar "Classy" Freddy Blassy. He showed signs of a great pure wrestler, and soon began entertaining offers to join wrestling federations.

Wrestling Career

NCWA

Walter Crowe's first stab at wrestling began in the Nevada Championship Wrestling Association, a lower level wrestling federation based out of Nevada. Walter was billed at the "local hero", but soon fell behind the high competition in the federation. He went on to win the NCWA State Championship, the second highest title in the federation, but lost it only two weeks later. Soon Walter fell towards the bottom of a federation that was slowly crumbling due to lack of sponsorship, and he left when his contract ran out.

ISW

Walter then joined Iowa State Wrestling, where he was one of the higher level superstars in the federation. He was a big fan favorite and had a habit of "pumping up" the crowd. Walter won the ISW Championship, the only title in the federation, and held it for 4 months. Walter was highly beloved and highly recruited. However, the ISW started to crumble as superstars started to leave for different federation. Walter tried to keep the federation running, but soon the money of higher federations was too much for Walter to resist, and he left the almost dead ISW in 1989.

WCW

Walter joined World Championship Wrestling in early 1990 in more of a filler role. He began getting airtime in late 1990 and early 1991. He was expected to get into a feud with Ric Flair and eventually climb up the ladder of the XWF, but in a match with newcommer Maestro, Walter injured his neck and was sidelined for a year. Walter considered a return to the ring, but he was released from WCW in 1991. Knowing that he would have to do the farm circut all over again, Walter decided to retire from wrestling and instead get into business like his father was. Walter retired from wrestling with a 43-21-4 record in farm feds and a 7-10 record in the WCW.

Move to trainer

Walter worked quietly for 11 years, owning a small night club in Las Vegas. In 2002, he linked up with Centurion while Centurion was in the XWF. Walter immediatly became Centurion's trainer and publicity agent. Most people give Walter credit for Centurion's move to the BAW and his rise to the top of that federation. The allegiance moved Centurion from a low to a midcarder within the wrestling world, and made Centurion a marketable character, which is prevelant today.

Jessica Crowe Controversy

In late 2002, a young girl by the name of Jessica Crowe came out an announced she was the daughter of Walter Crowe. Walter immediatly brought her in and raised her. Her and Centurion eventually struck up a relationship, even though Jessica was only 15 at the time. Walter took his fair share of criticism, with the public claiming that Walter, instead of looking after the best interests of his daughter, was looking after the best interests of his career. Centurion and Jessica got married in Greece, though the marriage was later disavowed and record of the marriage was erased. Jessica is now enrolled at Harvard University, and most of the heat from the situation has passed.
