Weapons of Mass Seduction

"Weapons of Mass Seduction" is the third solo studio album by American Pop/R&B singer KibbyD, released by Hawtstuff Records December 14, 2008. The ablum debuted at number one on Billboard 200 making it Kibby's Second number one album since Made Crazy. The album also made the Entertainment Weekly magazine's list of the 10 Best Albums of 2008 ranked at number 10.

Marso worked on the album for nearly a year, longer than she had spent on her previous solo albums. She revealed that she had co-written and co-produced over half of the album and other tracks that didn't make the cut for the U.S. release of the cd. In a statement released on Marso' official website, she wrote:

"I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. W.O.M.S. shows all the risk I have taken to be the best and right now I feel happy with the outcome of it all. I have went from modern pop to pop and r&b sounds. I can go from the hot dance tracks to something with a smooth vibe. With that I think people can understand just how much I care about my work."

Kibby was set to release the album in October of 08, but the album was held back. Kibby later set a date for the album being in December of 08 and later competed with arch-rival Tecky as both albums were set to be released on December 14, 2008. Both Made impacts with thier singles; Kibby released "Leftovers" as her first single.

A deluxe edition of the album, which contains bonus tracks, will be release in January of 09. Kibby will also release videos for all songs of album and create a DVD for it much like the due success of Beyonce with her B'Day album.

Tour

A tour has also been announced via Kibby's offical myspace page. It will be her first ever would tour, and will take place some time in 09. Kibby is working along with Divas Unleashed on the tour dates as she will tour along with the company during thier world tour stops. Kibby is working with some very creative minds planning this tour and plans to give more insight on it via her myspace page.
